We had an awful lot of customers the next day, I met my coworker, a young boy named Toby. He was the kid who worked with Pirelli a bit ago. Interesting. My room was a light blue and was extremely simple, seen as I had not moved in yet. Mrs. Lovett and Mr. todd had a stern conversation with me about what they use for the pies and why, they said that if I run off and tell the police, they'll have Micheal take me. I guarantee them that I wouldn't dare do such. I smiled at the customers and ignored the sexual comments as I passed. Mrs. Lovett glared subtly at the men and gives them their pies.
I could hear Toby's singing from outside the door, what a cute child.

'Ladies and gentlemen
May I have your attention, please?
Are your nostrils aquiver and tingling as well as that delicate, luscious, ambrosial smell?
Yes, they are, I can tell
Well, ladies and gentlemen
That aroma enriching the breeze
Is like something compared to its succulent source
As the gourmets among you will tell you, of course
Ladies and gentlemen you can't imagine the rapture in store
Just inside of this door!
There, you'll sample Mrs. Lovett's meat pies
Savory and sweet pies, as you'll see
You who eat pies Mrs. Lovett's meat pies
Conjure up the treat pies used to be!'

Toby came in the shop and started to aid in waitering.

Over here, boy
How about some ale?
Let me have another, laddie
Could we have some service, waitress?
Could we have some service?
What about that pie boy?

I scrunched my nose and plastered a fake smile on my lips.

'Of course sirs
Just wait
And you'll receive a great treat!'

I sang and gave them pints of ale.

'Ladies and gentlemen-'

'Toby!'

'Coming, excuse me.'

'Ale there!'

'Right, ma'am'

'Quick, now'

'God thats good!'

I watched the customers hungerly scarf down their pies and I shook my head slightly. Thankfully, I didn't like pies. I thought.

'Nice to see you, dearie
How have you been keeping?
Cor, me bones is weary
Toby! One for the gentleman
Hear the birdies cheeping
Helps to keep it cheery
Toby! Throw the old woman out!'

Tobby nudged the beggar woman out of the shop and turned back to waiter. I kept the tray steady in my hand as he walked around.

'God thats good!'

'What's your pleasure, dearie?
No, we don't cut slices
Cor, me eyes is bleary!
Toby! One for the gentleman!
I could up me prices, I'm a little leery
Business couldn't be better, though'

I smiled sympathetically and made a mental not to have her rest later.

'God thats good'

'Knock on wood'

I noticed Mr. Todd at the top of the stairs looking down at us.

'Psst!'

'Excuse me'

'Psst!'

'Dearies, see to the customers '

'Psst!'

'Yes, what, love?
Quick, though, trade is brisk'

'But it's six o'clock'

'So it's six oclock?'

'It was due to arrive at a quarter and it's six o'clock!'

'And it's probably already
Down the block!'

'I've been waiting all day!
But it should have been here
By now!'

'It'll be here, it'll be here!
Have a beaker of beer
And stop worrying, dear
Now, now'

'More hot pies!'

I returned a fake smile to the woman who shouted at me for another pie. I just nodded and went to get one from the kitchen. When I got back Mrs. Lovett was talking with Toby

'God! Will you wait there
Coolly, cause my customers truly
Are getting unruly'

'You'll come back
When it comes?'

'And what's your pleasure, dearie?
Oops! I beg your pardon!
Just me hands is smeary
Toby!
Run for the gentleman!
Don't you love a garden?
Always makes me teary
Must be one of them foreigners'

'God thats good!
That is delicious!'

'What's my secret
Frankly, dear, forgive my candor
Family secret
All to do with herbs
Things like being careful with your coriander
That's what makes the gravy grander!'

'More hot pies!
More hot!
More hot pies!'

I noticed Mr. Todd and Mrs. Lovett talk again, but quieter. Toby didn't see and kept to the hungry customers. I glance at them, What are they saying? Mrs. Lovett gets back to work.

'Eat them slow cause every one's a prize
Eat them slow cause that's the lot and now we've sold it
Come again tomorrow!
Hold it!'

'More hot pies!'

'Bless my eyes!'

'This way, sir'

'Fresh suplies!'

I scrunch my nose, as I knew what that meant. Absolutely disgusting.

'Fresh supplies!
How about it, dearie
Be here in a twinkling
Just confirms my theory
Toby, God watches over us
Didn't have an inkling
Positively eerie
Toby, throw the old woman out!'

Is that a pie
Fit for a king
A wondrous sweet
And most delectable thing
You see, Mum
Why, there is no meat pie'

'God, that's good!
That is de-, have you
-licious, ever tasted, smell such
Oh my God, what perfect, more, that's
Pies, such flavor
God, that's good!!!'

We sold out of our pies rather fast. Although we just got "new supplies" so it won't take long for another batch. I sigh and start to clean up the tables, and putting the dishes in the sink. People started to leave the shop and one rubbed my backside as they left. I gasped and stood rigid while looking up and glaring at the man that held a disgusting expression. Toby saw this and glared at the man too. The boy had quickly developed a sister-brother relationship with me, and protected me like no other. I smiled thankfully at Toby when the man scuttled away from our harsh stares.
"Thank you Toby, I'm sure you scared the man away." I rubbed his shoulder and took the dishes from his hands.
"No problem Miss Audrey! Nothings gonna harm you, not while I'm around!" He reassures and beams proudly.
"Thank you again, now, how about you go help Mrs. Lovett with cleaning. I've got the dishes."
They boy nods and goes over to the woman with a rag in hand to clean the tables. I hum as I walk into the kitchen to wash the dishes in the sink.
