We returned after two days from that beautiful paradise where I celebrated my birthday for the first time in my very existence. Khushi is also back home for her autumn break of just one week. I was having a gala time with her. Both brother and sister have made it their mission to teach me driving. So every day early morning, three of us go for my riding lessons. Khushi, who can't wake up before 9 o'clock normally, wakes up at 5 am every day just for my sake. Because I didn't know how to ride a bicycle either, they were teaching me to ride a bicycle first.

It was one of our usual days, Ashish went to get ready after my cycling lessons while Khushi took me to her room for chit-chat.

"Bhabhi, it's so much fun teaching you. You are so clumsy. Bhai laughed so much when you fell. Thank God, you didn't bruise anywhere though." She said giggling. I looked at her with a smile.

She got up still giggling about it, to go get ready. Suddenly, she held her head and wobbled on her feet. I got alarmed and immediately held her before she could collapse on the floor.

"Khushu, Khushu." I attempted to wake her but she didn't budge. She was lying motionless in my arms.

"Ashish," I yelled terrified. Maa, Papa and Ashish came running hearing my scream.

"What happened?" They asked panicked and Ashish scooped the unconscious Khushi in his arms, placing her carefully on the bed.

"She just stood up to go get ready but then she just fainted. Oh, God! Oh, God! Is she going to be okay?" I couldn't stop crying.

"Sshhh... She is going to be fine. We are taking her to the hospital. Okay? Now, stop crying." Ashish told me calmly but his face was coated with distress. He took Khushi to the hospital while maa, Papa and I stayed home. He didn't want to bring anyone along.

We were waiting for them in the hall, my leg was bouncing up and down in worry and anticipation as I sat with mama and papa. After what felt like hours, we finally saw Ashish and Khushi making their way from the door. Khushu looked vulnerable and pale supported by Ashish, three of us stood up and started asking them questions.

"What happened to her? What did the doctor say?" Papa asked Ashish, hugging Khushu carefully in his arms.

"Her blood pressure fell. The doctor said it can be fatal for health if we don't take care of it now. She confessed there that she fainted twice in her dorm as well. So the doctor has prescribed some medicine, she will need to complete the course of it." Ashish explained and mamma scolded Khushi for not telling them about her health while papa scolded mamma for scolding his little girl. I felt like I was about to cry but I controlled my emotions after I saw a little smile forming on Khushi's face.

All of us ate our breakfast silently and mamma took Khushi to her room while we went to ours. Once the door was closed, Ashish stopped me by holding my hand from behind and turned me around.

"Are you alright?" He asked lovingly. I broke down in his arms and tears flew freely from my eyes. He held me securely while I sobbed.

"She is fine." He murmured caressing my hair.

"She was limp in my arms. It was so scary." I muttered between my sobs.

"But she is fine now. We all will make her healthy. Won't we?" I nodded crying while he was dabbing my tears away.

"Go talk to her. You will feel better." He said opening the door for me. I nodded and went to her room. Khushi was laying down on the bed reading a book.

I stared at her for a minute before knocking at her door, "Khushu, can I come inside?"

"Come in, bhabhi. I told you to not knock." She said shaking her head at me and patted the other side of her bed to me. I went ahead and sat with her.
