"Yeah, everything is here. Hmm. Which one? Didn't you say blue... Don't ask for the black one now. But, you selected it. Did you fight with anyone or did someone say something?"
"No, because you never pinpoint at things like this if you aren't upset."
"Come on, Khushu, out with it. You have two seconds. That's like a good girl. Did she, now?"
"What did you say then? Hmmm. Good, you handled her. I am proud of you. Then why are you upset? Khushu, these things happen in life. You need to be brave and defend yourself."
Ashish was talking to Khushi on the phone while I was unpacking our luggage and staring at him in between because his expressions were literally making me swoon. And don't even let me start on his heart-melting smile. Hotness alert!!!
We returned from Switzerland yesterday evening, after our three weeks long honeymoon, which was the most memorable and wonderful experience of my life. I wanted to stay there forever but I was kind of a little homesick too so it was a good thing we were back. We brought tons of gifts for everyone and since Khushi wasn't back yet, we didn't open them.
My job as a lecturer is starting next week and I am filled with so many emotions before that. I mean, all the excitement mixed with nervousness is something else only.
Gosh! I am going crazy. I mumbled, giggling to myself.
"Umm, beautiful," Ashish commented wrapping his arms around me from behind. I squeaked getting startled.
"Ashish, you scared me." I scolded him and kept a hand over my heart to steady my rapid heartbeat.
"Sorry." He said pouting, nuzzling his face in my neck. I kissed his cheek and ran my fingers in his hair.
He moaned, "Umm, this feels so good."
"Love you," I whispered to him.
"Aww, I love you too, sweetheart. Is everything okay with you? You look so tired." He asked turning me around.
"Hmm, I feel exhausted. I am probably jetlagged." I sighed tiredly.
"I will unpack the luggage, then. You go get some rest." He said caressing my face. It is a blessing, you know, to have someone care for you to this extent.
"Thank you. Can you give me a headache tablet too?" I asked him and he nodded, looking worried. After he handed me a glass of water and the tablet, he checked my temperature.
"I am fine. Just a little headache. Nothing a nap can't recover." I muttered as he still looked concerned.
"You have a weak immune system, you fall sick too soon." He muttered and I wrapped my arms around his chest.
"That's because I know you will take care of me," I mumbled smiling, looking up from his chest. He smiled back and kissed my forehead.
"Now lay down for some time. I will massage your head." I laid down and he did wonders with his fingers on my head. I was out like a light within minutes.
When I woke up, I was alone in the room. I freshened up and after retouching my makeup, I went out into the hall. Mamma and papa were watching a movie while Ashish was nowhere to be seen.
"Akshita, come join us," Mamma called me as she saw me standing at the door. I smiled and went to sit beside her.
"How do you feel now? Ashish said your head was aching." She asked caressing my hair. I rested my head on her shoulder, yawning.
