I watched as Amber left me once more, suddenly feeling as if now she was my only support in the whole school.
I wanted to find Cyrus, for it was really time for me to just tell him. I was still reluctant, but this was something I just had to do.
I knew that after school, Cyrus would be going to the spoon with Andi and Buffy. It didn't matter to me if he he didn't want to talk. As far as I was concerned, all he needed to do would be to listen.
After arriving at the spoon, I saw the girls, but Cyrus hadn't joined them yet. The spotted me and signalled for me to join them.
"Are you okay?" Andi enquired "You've been quiet recently"
"I'm okay" I lied.
"It just isn't like you to be so distant" Buffy added "We're getting worried"
"And more to that, Cyrus has literally been freaking out" Andi continued.
"He's been freaking out?" I pressed "Why?"
"Because you keep ignoring him" Buffy answered "Is there something you're not telling him?"
I suddenly found myself in a difficult situation. I wanted to tell Cyrus, but now I felt obliged to tell Andi and Buffy too.
"I'll tell you on one condition" I stated.
"Which is?" Buffy wondered.
"Swear to me that you will not tell Cyrus" I replied "I really want to tell him myself"
I saw the girls stare quickly at each other. I was hoping that they would agree to my terms, but I was convinced that they would say no.
"Okay" Andi agreed "We swear"
"So spill Beck" Buffy ordered.
"I have a major crush" I began "It's been taking over my whole life and it's becoming too much"
"What's that got to do with Cyrus?" Buffy asked.
"Think about it" Andi instructed "I know exactly what Jonah is saying"
"You do?" I mumbled.
"Yes, so just say it" Andi encouraged.
"I have a crush on Cyrus" I declared.
I expected them to be shocked, and they were, but there was something that I hadn't realised.
"Hey, please say something" I begged.
"Um, I think Cyrus heard you" Andi mumbled.
I turned around and saw Cyrus, he was walking away but I noticed that there were tears rolling down his face.
"What happened?" I whispered.
"I think he heard you" Andi rejoined.
"What should I do?" I continued.
"Go after him, you idiot!" Buffy responded.
