I went to bed, feeling like a big weight had been taken off of my shoulders. There was nothing in the world that could take this feeling away from me.
The sleep I had was probably the best in ages, as I slept like a baby all night. My dreams were filled with Cyrus and I was upset when I had to wake up.
However, when I woke up, I was met with Cyrus lying on top of me, snuggled up nice and warmly to my frame.
"Good morning!" he beamed "You look so sweet when you sleep!"
"Morning angel" I replied "How did you get in?"
"I knocked at the front door half an hour ago, and your mum let me in" he explained.
"And she let you come up to my room?" I wondered.
"Yes, she said you were asleep and I could wake you up" he continued "That's when I found you up here, and you looked so cute that I didn't have the heart to wake you up"
"If going out with you is going to mean you wake me up every morning, then I'm happy" I laughed "You're such a pleasant sight to wake up to"
Not wanting to ruin the nice atmosphere, I stayed lying down on my bed, with Cyrus lying next to me. I wasn't in a rush as it was Saturday, and who gets up early on a Saturday?
"So this is Jonah Beck's house" he muttered "I hope I get to stay here forever"
"I hope that we move into our own place together" I reacted "A place where it's just you and me, with each other forever"
"I like the sound of that" he agreed.
I couldn't believe that my boyfriend was in my house, laying with me on my bed. His arms were wrapped around me, almost as if he was holding on for dear life. Then I realised something which made me slightly anxious.
"Wait a minute" I mumbled "Does this mean mum knows about us?"
"Yes, well... She told me my boyfriend was still asleep" he stated "So I assume that means that she either knows or has come to that conclusion herself"
"At least she likes you" I replied "That's always something that worries me. For some reason she never liked Andi or Amber"
"Perhaps she knew we were destined to be together" he suggested "Seeing as the girls also believe that"
It was completely alien to me, how everyone apart from me seemed to have ever thought Cyrus and I would ever be together. I had dreamed of it, and now it was official.
"You're so precious to me" I said "I promise I'll always look after you"
"And I promise that to you too" he assured "You are the best thing that's ever happened to me"
We shared a kiss before heading down for breakfast. I could tell that my life was finally going to be good, and he was the key to unlocking it.
