Nightmares

( just a short fluff )
Ever since you were attacked on the way to camp half blood you'd had nightmares about it.
Each night you'd wake up screaming, for the first few months you didn't tell anyone
Until it got so bad that you refused to sleep, so you told leo about it
You trusted him more than anything he was your closest friend.
"You'll be ok your one tough cookie y/n" he said,
That night the nightmare woke you up screaming usually you'd cry until you fell asleep but you felt arms wrap around you. Normally if arms casually grabbed you in the middle of the night you'd freak out but somehow they made you feel safe.
"Shh y/n it's ok I'm here" whispered leo into your ear
He'd been waiting all night to help you Incase of a nightmare.
You cried into to his chest making his pyjama top wet.
"Thanksleo not many people would do that for me"
"It's ok, il do this every night until the nightmares stop" he softly replied
" what if they never stop?" You asked tears blinding you
"Then I guess il have to stay with you forever, I wouldn't mind" leo stood up kissed your forehead and walked towards the door
"Leo wait... please stay the night I need you" you asked
"So that means I might have to stay with you all night? Until the nightmares stop? On one condition I'm in the bed too a leo without sleep is a very grumpy one!" He replied
" fine valdez just promise you won't leave"
"I can do one better I swear on my life that I won't leave you" leo sat on the side of the bed and looked you In the eyes studying each little detail about them he could almost get lost in them.
"Why do you keep looking at me leo? Do I look that bad?"
" you look beautiful y/n now try and sleep il be here if the nightmares start again"
And with that he turned off the lights and crawled into bed
You fell asleep instantly In his arms
But if you'd of stayed awake for a few more minutes you'd of heard leo whisper
'I love you' into your ears
