It was almost time for the winter ball which is a massive deal to most people. You didn't have a date but you could still have fun without one.
So on Saturday you the seven and nico went shopping for dresses and suits.
You all had been given a lot of money so decided to go into. The expensive dress shops.
As always the girls would try on the dresses in front of the guys to see if they liked it.
Everyone was in a couple apart from nico who wasn't going and leo who didn't want to go either. You supposed you'd just hang out with Annabeth hazel and piper that night.
You grabbed 4 dresses
A short pink prom dress
A glittery long white dress with massive jewels
A plain black tight dress
Just before you could go into the changing rooms you felt Leo grab your arm and hand you a dress before running to find Jason
You studied the dress carefully it reminded you of a wedding dress you once saw in vogue
It had a sweetheart neckline coated in light pink and blue jewels the light colour of the dress would make your complexion stand out even more just looking at it made your heart flip you studied the dress even more underneath the first layer of skirt was a light orange layer Leo's favourite colour
You decided to go try on all the dresses The first one you tried looked absolutely horrible the nicest comment you've got about it was that you looked slightly better than in an ompa Lompa The next Dress was pretty enough but didn't really suit you do you felt washed out and not pretty
although you liked the plain black tight dress it didn't look suitable for a winter ball it made you look like a female version of Nico
With almost almost hope lost you tried on the dress that Leo had handed you
You closed your eyes and turned to the mirror you look absolutely beautiful it almost made you want to cry you never felt beautiful before in your life today was a very rare exception it was almost like Leo knew that it would suit you perfectly
you came out of the changing room beaming for the first time all eyes were on you and you liked the attention.
Leo looked at you and his hands caught fire you giggled before walking back into the changing room and calling out "I'm guessing this is the dress I'm getting then"
before taking the dress off and looking at the price tag your heart sank the dress was absolutely expensive as Hades $4000 for a dress it almost made you want to cry but you didn't you walk out of the changing room and placed on the rack before walking out.
when everyone was back at camp get in ready for the ball you sat in your bedroom you didn't have a dress or a date an hour before the ball you heard a knock at your door Leo was standing outside he handed you a pretty bag wrapped with a pink ribbon " I'd better see you in an hour y/n" leo said before walking off
You blushed and walked into your cabin and unwrapped the bag.
Inside was the dress you had tried on, on top of it was a note
~ hola y/n do you want to be my date tonight? I got you the dress because you looked wow I mean you outshine Aphrodite you are the most beautiful girl in the world and I'd love to be your date xoxo leo the flame boy ~
