After lunch, Crybaby and Ben walked out the cafeteria having an ongoing conversation that probably wouldn't stop until they were interrupted. Angelita walked lonely and bored, occasionally looking around the space filled with students to try and find them. Once she spotted them on a bench in a corner, she sat on another bench and stared from afar. Simply watching Crybaby brought her joy; but seeing someone else take her place ruined it. Crybaby looked around and noticed her watching them, and Angelita quickly turned her head away. Crybaby twirled her hair nervously before alerting Ben, "Hey, I'm sorry, I need to go talk to Angelita. We'll talk soon, okay?"

"Oh, yeah, that's alright," Ben grinned at her. Crybaby smiled back at him before going up Angelita, who looked the other way as if she was oblivious.

"What's going on?" Crybaby asked as she sat next to her.

"What do you mean? Nothing is going on," Angelita responded blandly.

"So what are you doing just sitting here and staring?"

"Well, what else am I supposed to do? You left me alone," Angelita said as she looked down and fidgeted with her hands.

"I know, I'm sorry. But the way you acted when I looked at you is just-"

"Crybaby, don't worry about it."

"I want to know about anything that's bothering you."

Angelita just rested her head on her palm and stared at her. Crybaby tilted her head and quietly asked, "What is it?"

Angelita smiled a little. "You're so pretty," She said as if she was entranced.

Angelita may have had a tendency of hinting rather than saying things straightforward, sometimes unintentionally. But she was scared. Scared of losing everything they had. This was her best friend. How would she be seen if Crybaby knew what she was feeling? Everything would change.

Crybaby laughed, "Well aren't you being sweet?" The two of them smiled. "Just... let me know why," She added.

Angelita sighed, "I can't."

Crybaby put her hand on Angelita's arm as she scooted closer to her. Angelita looked down to hide her smile.

Crybaby couldn't stand not knowing what was going on with Angelita, partially just out of pure curiosity. She thought to herself, she'd seen behavior like this before; she'd been in love and she'd had people love her. But it couldn't be, could it? As she thought, a different problem dawned on her- how would she balance her time between figuring things out with Angelita and spending time with Ben?
