That same day, Celeste had been in her room journaling. For the past few days, she was so distracted by the last conversation she had with Crybaby, she couldn't think straight. She stared at her half-written page in annoyance for a few seconds and then finally walked over to her telephone. She started to dial Angelita's number. There were three rings and then an answer.
"Hello?"
"Hey Angelita, it's Celeste."
"Oh, hey, Celeste! Happy to hear from you. What's up?" Angelita spoke happily.
"We just haven't talked in a while; I wanted to check up on you and see how everything's going."
Angelita let out a small sigh, "Things are going great. The first few days of school were a little rough for me because all I could think about was... this problem I couldn't get off my mind. But now everything is taken care of. And I like this school a lot better, too."
"Yeah? That's nice. So, what was that problem you were upset about?"
"Uh... It's complicated. I don't know if I can really explain it to you without-"
"I got all day. You know I can listen," Celeste urged.
"Well, it's about one of our friends," Angelita started.
Celeste quietly listened, furrowing her eyebrows in a focused face.
"Crybaby," Angelita added.
"Oh. Are you two okay?"
"Yeah, for sure. She's the reason I'm so happy now, honestly," she paused for a moment, "I guess I fell for her while we were in K-12, and I just found out she feels the same way about me. We spent some time together yesterday. We even kissed," she said in a bashful manner.
Celeste's expression dropped. "O- Oh. Really?" She asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, you're lucky I told you. I'm not someone to kiss and tell," Angelita giggled.
Celeste took a moment to collect herself. "Well, that's great and I'm so happy for you. Just... be careful."
"Be careful? Why?"
"Because... You know how people can be. Don't rush into anything," Celeste spoke firmly.
"She's Crybaby. She won't hurt me."
