The two girls entered the cafeteria hand-in-hand. Crybaby looked around secretly and only saw a couple people noticing. One of them was Ben. "Angelita, why don't you go get some food, and I'll meet with you in a minute," Crybaby suggested. Angelita nodded, "Okay," She obeyed Crybaby's wishes and went to the line. Crybaby waved for Ben to come up to her and he walked up with an odd facial expression. In a disheartened tone, he started before she could say anything, "I see. You two are-?" He paused.

"No, we're not," Crybaby shook her head at him.

"Really? What was the hand holding about?" Ben interlocked the fingers of his own two hands as he spoke.

"I'm just trying to make her happy."

"Why do you have to hold her hand to make her happy?"

Crybaby lifted her head and looked at the line from afar to see if Angelita was close to done. "Listen, Ben, you can't talk to anyone about this. And don't make assumptions, because I'm not even sure yet..." She rambled for a bit.

"Okay, just tell me. What's going on?"

Crybaby sighed, "Angelita might have feelings for me. So, I'm just trying to please her and see where that gets me. Maybe she'll confess something soon, I don't know."

Ben's expression softened, "Oh." They stayed in silence for a few seconds. "But this means us two can't... be together," Ben added after a moment of thinking.

"That's not true. We can still see each other outside of school or-" Crybaby suggested.

"I mean together like... A couple," Ben said cautiously.

"Oh. Um... I wouldn't say we can't be," Crybaby checked the line again frantically, "Angelita wouldn't have to know. And as long as you understand what's going on with her and I, hopefully you'll be okay with those things I do with her," She explained.

Ben turned around to look for Angelita and then turned back to Crybaby.

"And if it makes you feel any better, it's just some hand holding and compliments. I won't let it go any further than that," Crybaby assured him.

"Can we talk more about this later?" Ben asked.

"Yeah. I have your number, I'll call you after school," Crybaby nodded.

"I'll pick up," Ben said and then left. Crybaby still felt unsettled. Angelita purchased her and Crybaby's lunch and walked out of the line. She sat in an empty seat and pushed one tray to the empty space beside her. "Hey," Crybaby gave Angelita a fake smile as she sat down next to her. "Hi," Angelita slightly curled up in shyness. Crybaby mimicked her body language and cooed, "You're so cute." Angelita's heart did a cartwheel, and she thought to ask something. She exhaled, "Can we see each other again sometime soon? Out of school?"

Crybaby looked at her, "Yeah, sure. When are you free?"

"I don't have any plans coming up, so any time," Angelita said.

"Okay. How about we meet up after school on Friday?"

"Yeah, sure. Where?"

Crybaby thought for a moment. "Blue Moon Plaza? We can meet at the big fountain at the entrance," She suggested with a smile.

"Yeah! Five o'clock sound okay?" Angelita smiled back in excitement.

"Yep. Can't wait."
