Chapter 10

~Mara's P.O.V~

Whatever coming were close, very close. Emerging form the bushes I saw two wolves. A brown and a grey.

Chloe and Dylan.

I sighed in relief, for two reasons, one Eddie was going to see his mom again and two I would see my mom again.

"You guys gave my a heart attack!" I said using my free hand and holding my chest, calming down my breathing. They went behind trees and came out with clothes on.

"Mara what the he- why do you have Eddie in your arms?" Chloe asks pointing at Eddie who had his face buried in my shirt.

"Oh thank god! He's apart of your pack right?" I asked.

"Yeah his mom lives in the pack house." Dylan speaks up.

"Well I found little Eddie here crying and I offered him to carry him back to his mom. So to the pack house we go. Lead the way alpha." With that said little Eddie's head flew up from my shirt.

"Alpha Dylan!" He squealed while jumping out of my arms and into Dylan's. Well that was mean.

"Hey little buddy! Come lets go carry you to your mommy!" Dylan says with the little kid in his arms.

"Well I was forgotten quickly." I said with a pout.

"A little jealous are we Mara?" Dylan says with a smirk that would send a girl melting but I held my ground.

"No I'm not." I said with my head held high.

"I didn't forget about you Mara. You found me and was going to carry me home. You're very nice and I like you." Eddie says with an adorable smile on his face.

"Thanks Eddie and I like you too..." I walk over to them. "Plus your so cute." I said while pinching his cheeks which he quickly swatted away. To which we all laughed to.

We started walking and within a couple of minutes a huge house comes into sight.

"So I guess this is the pack house. Wow it's huge bigger than Jason's pack house." I said taking in the size of the house.

"Yeah my pack is a little bigger than Jason's pack."

"Oh"

"Oh my Gosh! Eddie!" A woman shouted while running towards us.

"Mommy!" Eddie shouts back while jumping out of Dylan's arms towards his mom. She was about 5 feet tall with brown hair and green eyes like Eddie's, I see where he gets it from.

"I'm sorry mommy I got lost." He said looking sad which broke my heart.

"It's okay honey as long as your okay." She says hugging and kissing him.

"Thanks to Mara she found me."

He says looking at me.

His mom runs up to me and engulfs me into a hug which shocked me.

"Thank you so much." She says pulling away.

"Your welcome I was happy to help." I give her a warming smile which she gladly returned.

"Alpha. Beta." She addresses them and bowed then went back to Eddie, who waved me goodbye.

"Your so nice it should be a crime." Chloe says. Chloe is nice but she's mean when she wants to be.

I shrugged in response.

"Dylan!" Cindy squeals while pouncing on Dylan. Poor Dylan was surprised his shocked face was priceless, which caused me and Chloe to laugh. He quickly but gently pulled to blonde off of him. I just noticed that we had an audience, some of the pack members looked at Dylan laughing, trying not to laugh and giving him sympathizing looks.
