Chapter 11

~Dylan's P.O.V~ (that morning)

I woke and headed downstairs. I am starving. I enter the kitchen and see Robin and Chloe sitting down eating. It was like 5a.m, Chloe always wakes up early I guess she forced Robin out of bed, he still looks tired. I knew Mara won't be up yet to get ready for school.

"Morning" I say while heading to the fridge.

"Morning."

"Morning Alpha." Robin says bowing.

*Bang* I heard my front door break off its hinges. I run to see what's happening, I see like 20 rouges on my lawn.

"What the hell! Xavier get your asses at my house now, there rouges here!" I said through my mind link to one of the pack's best fighter.

"Yes Alpha."

"Well well, hello Alpha Dylan, how have you been?" Mike, who I guess is the leader says with an evil smirk.

Mike was apart of my pack, but was kicked out and banished. He has dark brown hair with, what used to be brighter, grey eyes and medium built.

"You have a lot of nerve Mike, what are you doing here?" I spat.

He killed one of my pack member for no reason. He disgusts me.

"What can't I pay a visit to my dear Alpha?" In response I growled.

"What do you want Mike?" Chloe asks from beside of me.

"We are here to kill her. Your little human, we were informed that she was the one."

"You're not going to hurt her!" Chloe screams and lunged at him.
Well we can forget about school today.

~Mara's P.O.V~ (present time)

I think quickly and jump through my window. I landed on my feet.
I think I can hide my scent.

I rolled in the mud on the ground, that was there because of the sprinklers. I could hear the tearing of flesh and growling from the front of the house, I was currently at the side of the house.

"Where is she? She was in here a minute ago." One of the guys shouted. I couldn't help but giggle quietly.

"Her scent is gone, she's hiding her scent."

"Find her now!"

I need to find somewhere to hide. I peeked around the corner and everybody fighting, and who wasn't fighting were dead.

One guy that was from Dylan's pack, I mouthed to me to run. I nod.
Don't need to tell me twice.

I run towards the woods making sure no one followed. I found myself climbing a tree, and climbed to the top, so I can see the fight and so that no one could see me.
Who the hell are these people? And why do they want to kill me?

I see beneath me running away two guys.

"We'll come back another day with more wolves and we will kill her." One says.

"Lets hope the hunters don't get to her first." The other one says while disappearing into the woods.

I released a breath that I didn't know I was holding. I started to panic.
Oh no they're going to come back for me. The amount of people I'm putting into trouble. Oh g-

I was cut off by someone shouting my name, Dylan and then another by Chloe.

"Up here!" I shouted. Their eyes shot up to mine, and I saw relief in them. I start my journey down the tree. I was finally down and Chloe engulfs me into a hug.
