Succumbing To The Darkness Within (Previously The Gift)

Chapter 27

~Mara's P.O.V~

"Michael, I swear to god if you don't give me the remote right now, I will rip you apart!" Chloe shouts while shooting daggers at Michael.

"No, I'm watching Maze Runner. I'm not going to sit down and watch Amazing Spider-Man 2 again. It's depressing." Michael shoots back.

They have been like this for the pass 5 minutes. I'm fine with either movie but no they had to get into an argument. We agreed that we sure have some relaxation, so decided to watch a movie.

Then it all started. We were all in the living room, Chloe wanted to watch Amazing Spider-Man 2 again, and Michael wanted to watch Maze Runner. They tried to make me, Robin, Dylan and Cassie decide but we backed out.

Robin and Cassie watches in shock and amusement, while Dylan and I watch with a flat look on our faces. We are not even surprised any more!

"Michael give me the fu-" before she could finish I cut in.

"Chloe, Michael stop it!" I stand up from my previous position and put my fingers on the bridge of my nose, and shake my head.
They are like 5 year olds.
"Michael give me the remote now." I say through gritted teeth.

He sighs, surrendering,and places the remote in my outstretched hand. I grab it and put on a movie. The Book of Life.

"Are you guys happy?" I ask sounding very annoyed.

"Yeah sure it's a good movie."

"Never seen it before, but okay." They both mumble, while heading towards the couch and sitting down.

"Are they like this all the time?" Cassie asks me wide eyed.

"You have no idea."

"I don't think I can handle that. Why me?"

"Hey what's wrong with me?" Michael says with a pout.

"A lot of things." Chloe grumbles, from beside of him. Cassie chuckles.

"Hey, you're mean." He pouts.

"And your a little bitch."

"Takes one to know one." Michael shoots back and sticks out his tongue.
Oh no...... He walked into it this time.

Realizing his mistake, Michael jumps up and takes off running.

"Oh, everyone knows that I love to chase my victims." She says with an evil laugh at the end.

"You'll never catch me alive!" Michael shouts.

"That's what I'm hoping for."

"Don't kill him, it's going to be hard to find a new Gamma." Dylan says with amusement evident in his eyes.

"Yeah and I need my mate. If he dies my wolf is going to bug me until I die." Cassie says looking amused by this.

"Oh and he owes me money." I say amused myself.

"Wait! He has my phone, can you get it before you kill him? I don't want blood on the screen." Robin says.

"Hey! If Chloe's going to kill Michael do it outside. I don't wanna clean up after. Thanks!" Kiara shouts for upstairs.

"Make it silent Chloe. I'm very tired." George shouts also.

"Thanks guys, feeling the love." Michael shouts from outside. We all bust out laughing, except for Chloe, she's busy playing fetch. If you know what I mean.

About 10 minutes or less, Chloe enters with Michael. He was alive but he was being dragged inside by his feet and he was tied up with rope and had duct tape over his mouth.

"Where did you get the rope and the duct tape?" Dylan ask curiously.

"I have my ways." She responds. He just simply shrug.

I sigh and get up. Gosh! I have such childish friends. I walk over to Chloe.

"When you gonna let him go?"

"When I feel like it."

"So never. Okay. Michael you wanna give me the money you owe me." He shoots me a death glare. "Okay, okay. I'll ask later." I put my hands up in surrender.

I look at his hands which were bound by the ropes, I see his wrist were being bruised. I kneel down and start untangling them.

"Your no fun." Chloe pouts and stomp her foot. I just roll my eyes and continue freeing Michael.

When that was done, I rip off the duct tape.

"Ouch!"

"Oops sorry.(note the sarcasm) You okay?"

"Yeah." He starts rubbing his wrists.

I help him up and we continue our night by watching The Book Of Life. Before long we all were sleeping.

~Unknown's P.O.V~

"You don't even know what she looks like or her name, much less who she is." My friend says trying to change my mind. But that's hopeless.

"Neither do you. All I need to know is that she's one of them."

"I know you hate Emily for what she did, but don't take it out on that girl." He says.

"No! I want them all to suffer!"

"Don't do it, they were humans once too. You being kill the innocent. Just get your revenge on Emily only, don't take it out on everyone." He tries to reassure.

"They are all monsters, and deserves to be killed." I pause and look at him. "And as for Emily, she going pay for what she did."

"She took everything from me."
