Peter's POV (bet ya wasn't expecting that)

"Al,Will, I do not like her in that way okay?" I walked with the boys out of what would now be our old dorm room once we found apartments to live in.

"Keep saying that Peter, we know you do" Al said.

"Ok so what if I like her, Will was looking at Christina as if she was a Goddess when we were asked if Angel was attractive." I argued back, in which Will facepalmed.

"Yeah I know I do but this ain't about me and her, it's about you and Angel." Will redirected the conversation to the beautiful brown eyed girl.

"Ughhhh ok yes fine maybe I do." The boys cheered slightly as we passed a few other Dauntless members, including Four.

"What are you boys cheering about?" He looked at us sternly, but almost happily.

"Peter likes Angel and we've been trying to get him to ask her out!" Al said to the 6 foot tall trainer.

"Well do what I did with Tris. Impress her with something ok? She impressed you, you gotta do the same over here. It isn't like Candor where you straight up tell the truth and it's over, you have to do something cool for her to notice it too." We kind of just stared when we realised he said Tris but then the advice sort of stuck in and I realised I had no idea what to do.

"I have no idea on how to impress her" I said, again a little shocked with myself.

"You grew up with her yeah?" Four asked.

"Yes" I nodded my head at him.

"Try and remember any memory of her every from back then, and then impress her by that. She might find it cool that you noticed her then." He patted my back and then walked off to do god knows what. I mean I chose that job and I haven't done any particular training yet.

"Ok any memory of her when we were growing up.... damn that's going to be hard, she was the rumoured abuse girl. That's all I have right now." I said, shrugging my shoulders.

"Well you saw her in school yeah?" I nodded at Al's question.

"Classes and stuff?" Will asked, I again nodded whilst leaning against the wall we'd come across when we entered the pit.

"Well did she ever show signs of struggle outside of her house? Did she always act normal?" They both asked these basic questions.

"Yeah and I know Christina wasn't her friend back then. It was another couple of girls who went to Abnegation and Amity." They nodded.

"See okay, you know stuff about her. Knowing stuff about her from your old faction that could help in showing her that you like her and have some form of affection towards her" Will said.

"Yeah but here's the thing, if we're looking at apartments soon, won't that be weird cause we'd be in the 'I like you' phase but we aren't dating" I pointed out to them.

"Better make it quick Peter, you remember how many boys were after her last night" Al said to me, which in turn got a death glare from me and a 'really?' look from Will.

"What I mean it's true, people would drop at their feet for her looks" Al shrugged. I so wanted to slap him then and there.

"Shut the fuck up will you! I know I need to ask her quickly!" I almost yelled at the boy.

"Yeah you just have to figure out how" I thought it over for a second.

"Meet me after lunch, I know just how to" I then walked back through to the old dorms and realised that nobody was in there. Perfect.

"Now I just have to configure the perfect speech to give to her" I whispered to myself.

I met the boys after lunch had cleared out and had fully explained my plan.

"Okay so you're doing a speech?" Al kind of just looked at me questioningly.

"Yes, which has all memories I have of her" I said to them.

"It's cute, when are you going to do it?" Will asked me.

"I told the girls to come here in 2 hours." I told them, in which I started to get really nervous.

"Oh that's soon. You sure you're ready?" I gave him a look.

"I'd assume that's a yes but a no cause you're scared of what Angel is going to say" I looked at him again and nodded.

"Should of been in Candor Will, I swear to God" I said to the brunette.

"Well too bad I wasn't" he shrugged.

"Where's Al by the way?" He also asked.

"He's telling the girls to come soon but it sounds like he got sidetracked considering that was like half an hour-" I was about to finish my sentence when Al burst in with the girls straight behind him.

"Uhhhh Al what did you do?" Will asked, pointing at him and the three girl behind him.

"They got it out of me- we'll not everything but here we are" He rushes out, looking at me and nodding.

"Um well ok, I just wanted to speak to Angel actually." Everyone nodded as she stepped forward her hair was in a bun and she was wearing a black jumper with leather shorts. Oh Jesus.

"Peter what's up with you, you look like you're going to pass out" She said to me, waking me out of a dream state I'd been in.

"Angel I wanted to ask you something but firstly I know I need to prove to you basically everything. I noticed you in Candor. A lot. I didn't know you were the abused girl but you held yourself up so well any time you were in the public like in school and with friends, I remember that you actually weren't friends with Christina before we became a part of this faction, in some classes you were loud and others you were quiet and focused which always looked cute on you. So many boys wanted to talk to you and be able to call you theirs. I know the friends you did have left for other factions, and you may have felt abandoned by that. I also know you have the smallest amount of fears in the entire faction, but I also know you are the most beautiful girl I have ever met. I may have just bullied you cause I just didn't realise how much I actually liked you, I wanted to know will you go out with me?". I waited for an answer, instead I got a kiss.

"Is that a good enough answer?" She smirked at me.

"That's a yes?" She nodded at me.

"Thank god" I breathed, she then lifted up my chin.

"Were you expecting a no Peter?" I nodded at her.

"Good thing you'll be wrong for a long time" She smiled, I laughed and kissed her. We headed cheers outside the cafeteria's doors. Specifically the girls.

"Oh my god, they're never gonna let this go" I said to her.

"Well let's give them a show" I said to her, she just grabbed my face to kiss me again.
