Angels POV
"Oh god, I'm so nervous....how long has it been?" I looked at Peter who was holding my hand tightly.
"It's only been 2 minutes. Don't worry I'm nervous too baby." The next few minutes went by very agonisingly, then finally the timer went off.
"Oh my god, I don't know if I can even look. I don't know if I'm ready to be a mum...or even a good one." I started getting jittery, I really didn't think I could be. Especially after my life back in my old faction.
"No don't think that, if you are pregnant...we're gonna be absolutely great parents." He gave me a sweet smile. I smiled softly, both of us walking to where the stick lay on the counter of our bathroom.
"Oh no, oh oh....we're screwed" I looked at the stick with two lines.
"No, no we aren't babe.... We're good, we're fine ok? We just now have a child before next year's initiates." I looked at him and how calm he was being.
"How are you still being so calm? We're not ready to be parents Peter, our careers only just started!" I started freaking out, the stick out of my hand and laying on the floor. After I asked him the question, a knock on the door interrupted him answering.
"Uh, who is it?" He asked the person on the other side. Instead, they opened the door, guess they just wanted to know if we were decent. Which I wouldn't blame them, if not for the situation which we're both in.
"Uhhh we wanted to know if you wanted to go out, but we all heard-" Chris' eyes landed on the stick before I and Peter could cover it by anything possible on the floor.
"No way Angel! YOU GOD DAMN PROMISED ONLY THIS MORNING!" I could hear the happiness in her voice. She rushed immediately to my side, myself and Peter still in a state of shock.
"Um yeah I promised, but I guess we are meant to be parents anyway..." I looked at the man who was going to be a father, smiling at him subtly. The rest of our group had pilled in, hearing the news as they got closer to where Chris had yelled. Peter's arms snaked around me as they piled in.
"NO WAY WE'RE GONNA BE UNCLES!" Will, Uriah and Four all yelled in sync as they saw the stick with the positive sign was still in my hand. The other girls were all still quiet but you could tell they were internally screaming.
"Ok, what is happening? Why is the door wide open and the boys screaming?" Tori and Eric had just come from the mass paperwork that had been handed to them by Max. Tori's eye's widened as she saw my hand.
"NO WAY! CONGRATS GUYS!" She hit Eric in the stomach, realising he hadn't said anything but also noticed what was in my hand.
"Are you gonna go to the nurse just in case this thing lied?" I shook my head at Tris who was on the couch.
"No, but this could risk my chances for training next year...right?" Eric and Tori looked at each other, having a debate with each other.
"No it wouldn't since the kid would be born before the next initiates come, but we'd all have to take turns to be your nanny when you do happen to train them...or also having said kid with you when you train the initiates...show them there's something positive that comes out of being a part of Dauntless besides being complete brutes" Tori spoke to me, giving Eric a glare occasionally cause knowing him he'd try to stop me from training next year.
"Okay, that's good. Guess we're having a baby!" I kissed Peter, both of us with wide smiles and the rest of our group cheering.
