Harry immediately regrets telling his sister about his, Herminoes and Ron's suspicion that Snape was behind the troll in the castle and the other weird things happening since she just laughs in his face. Wiping a tear from her eye. Then she kneels down and places her hands on his shoulders while Herminoe and Ron watch, slightly uncomfortable. "Listen closely now, kids. Professor Snape would never do anything that could directly harm you or me, Harry. He is much nicer than he let's on. Don't you dare talk about him like scum. To me he is family." "Family?! He was a death eater!", Ron says. "He was for only one purpose. And that is not to fulfill no-nose-lords dreams! I know that!" "What then? Hu?!" "I promised him not to tell anyone. I'm sorry but I will keep my promise and if it'll be the death of me. Just know that I've spoken to him about this. He truly is a great person if you'd even try to know him, but your judgemental ways get in your way before that. Now.. I have a study date set up with Terence. But if I see you bunch annoy my favorite professor I'll teach you a much needed lesson about respecting the ones older, wiser and completely unknown to you." With that she gets up and leaves. Her books levitating behind her. And the trio exchanges worried glances. "We'll prove her wrong. It can't be someone else but Snape!", Harry decides and his friends nod.

Helena makes it just in time and collapses into the chair next to her now boyfriend, earning a glare from multiple other girls. "Your fans are pissed at me.", Helena chuckles and Terence snorts, leans over, cups her face and kisses her. She runs her fingers through his blonde hair and gently tugs it, motivating him to not only deepen the kiss, turning it into a French kiss but also pull her into his lap. Breathlessly she looks at him. He smiles. "I don't need them. I already have my fan. Right here." "Mhm. The chaser of Gryffindor and Slytherins seeker. Man. We make one odd couple." He laughs and hugs her to his chest. They stay that way for a moment. Tightly embracing. Then they part a bit and finally open their books. She peaks into his questions and beams. "Oh. Brewing Amortentia. Easy." Terence raises an eyebrow. "Easy? Its one of the most complicated potions there is." "Ah. Me and Professor Snape discussed it during a lesson in my second year. I told him I'd like to experiment so that it doesn't have to brew so long so we set up the entire thing and after lessons started working on it. We made one of the strongest Amortentia potions he'd ever seen. So strong in fact that we had to lock it away for safety measures. Its a walk in the park for me, really. Want me to explain it to you?" Terence, before not really aware just how well Helena and his house teacher got along is now truly impressed. "Please do." "Get your quill and ink ready."
Helena Lupin dictates him three full parchment papers concerning Amortentia and her and Snapes discoveries. She even knows the ingredients from the back of her mind. A few older students too listen to her as she rambles about the effects a certain spell has on the brewing time and another on the strength of the potion. About the fumes being strong enough to have an effect on the inhaling person if not careful and etcetera. Even the librarian comes and joins them as she hears the commotion but refrains from disturbing them, instead only listens in astonishment. The couple sitting on the sofa don't notice in the slightest. He doesn't even need to ask questions since she explains it perfectly understandable. So perfectly that a lot of the students listening that are in their final year are noting some things down. With exception of the spells. When she finally notices after finishing his assignment verbally she not only jumps a bit but blushes brightly as well. They actually applaud her and shake her hand, giving her their thanks. After that they all start to work on their things, while Helena starts her homework, listening to Terence talk about the topic and from time to time noting down something he says, when she finds it befitting.
Leaning over to him after finishing her assignment as well she pecks his cheek. "Thank you." He smiles and places a kiss on her lips, then they walk out of the library, their fingers laced together and their arms swinging lightly, her face wearing the most brilliant smile that the students of Hogwarts had ever seen the Gryffindor Chaser wear, while Terence Higgs has a soft smile on his face, very untypical for a Slytherin who'd all typically frown constantly. Or smirk arrogantly.

"Oh. I need to talk to Professor Snape for a moment.", Helena says, looking at her boyfriend. "Shall I leave you to it, then?" She smiles at him. "Would be best. Hey Terence?" "Hm?" "I love you." The boy starts to light up like a child on Christmas. He pulls her close. "Say that again, beautiful." "I love you." Quickly he pulls her towards the side and then fiercely kisses her. Both enjoying the moment of closeness immensely. "I love you too, beautiful. My fiercely terrifyingly smart lioness." Helena laughs. "Now I really don't want to leave you." "I'll see you at dinner later. "Yeah. See you later. An if those gits come close to you tell them I'll jinx them into next year." "Don't worry. I can handle a couple assholes."

With that they part and the girl hurries down into the dungeons to her favorite Professor. She knocks and enters, careful to make sure no other student is there, then closes the door and smiles at her professor who lazily looks up and when recognizing her smiles slightly. "Hello, uncle Severus." She hurries over to him and gives him a hug, then sits down on his desk. "What can I do for you?" "Harry and his friends suspect you are trying to steal the Philosophers stone that's hidden underneath some trapdoor a three headed dog guards." Snape grumbles. "Already nothing but trouble, that damned boy." Helena chuckles. "I've noticed.. I think I have quite a load of work cut out for me.", she sighs. "I just wanted to warn you about it. Though I noticed something weird is going on as well." Snape nods. "I do believe it to be Professor Quirrel. Your brothers broom. The way it almost threw him off was no accident. And his eyes were fixed on him. I tried to contradict the spell but..." "I trust you. You do not need to tell me this, uncle Severus. And when it comes to Quirrel I'll keep an eye on him if you'd like me to." "I know you are a very bright young witch, Helena. But whatever is going on, I fear, may be beyond your skills." "Don't worry. I'm not scared. I have a family to protect and take care of. And whoever is trying to harm it I will eliminate. I haven't even shown you half of what I can do." Severus Snape sighs. "I trust you to be careful with what you are doing. And I want you to tell me the second you find anything." Helena nods. He looks into her eyes and reaches out, gently ruffling her curls. "You are so much like your mother, Helena." She smiles  at his softened face. "And you are nothing like dad said. You are a pure hearted softie." "I wasn't always." Helena sighs and shakes her head. "War changes people. Death changes people. In the end we are still as much animals as any muggle and any other primate. We are our own worst enemies and we like to differentiate ourselves from one another. So much in fact that we destroy those who we believe to be underneath us when in reality people are mirrors. And in their faces we see ourselves. We destroy ourselves so we don't have to realise how pathetic we truly are. Ironic." The Slytherin head of house nods. Melancholy filling his thoughts. Helena Lily Lupin.. Or better said Potter.. Was indeed one bright witch.
