Helena steps onto the train. Even though her dad would spend the time with Tonks she would go stay with Terence anyways. She blandly ignores her younger brother and slides into a compartment with her friends. Her head drops onto Olivers shoulder. "I'm so ready to just get my degree and leaving this fucking school." The boys laugh softly and Oliver wraps an arm around her shoulders. "Me too." She gently swings her legs back and forth, humming a soft tune. She looked lovely while doing so. And as comfortable as one can be. Drifting into a calm light sleep she holds onto her friends arm.
She only wakes up, when Draco rips open the door to their compartment. "Wake up, Helena. Father wanted to see you." She sighs and nods. "Fine, Draco. But Terence is waiting on the platform too so I don't have too much time.", she yawns and takes out her want, magically changing into some casual clothes. She ruffles her curly hair back into its messy but pretty form and puts her glasses back on. "Are we already there?" "We are 5 minutes away from the train station." She nods and gets up. "I'll see you two for studying, right?" "Of course. Take care, Hel." She smiles at them, hugging both, then allows Draco to take her hand and drag her out of the compartment to the nearest door. They exit the train the second it stops and he quickly pulls her over to his father and mother. "Draco.. Who is your friend?", Narcissa asks. Her eyes locking onto the dark haired girl. "This is Helena Lupin. She is a soon 7th year Gryffindor and takes care of me at school.", Draco says. Intentionally leaving out that she is actually a Potter. Helena smiles softly at Narcissa. "Your son is exceptionally bright and mature for his age. I'm glad to call him a friend." "And your other friends?" "Percy Weasley and Oliver Wood, both from my house and.." "Love. There you are." With a bright beaming smile she turns around to look at Terence. "You found me, handsome. Draco is introducing me to his parents.", Helena smiles. Terence simply jogs to them, wraps his arms around her waist and places a kiss on her temple. "Well.. how is my beautiful future wife? Hello Mr. Malfoy. Mrs. Malfoy. Draco." She giggles softly. "Good enough. I can't wait to be home with you." "Mr. Higgs. You two are engaged?" Terence nods. "I asked her last year.", he says and Lucius Malfoy nods. "I must thank you for caring for Draco so well. Thanks to you he had a good start into his life at Hogwarts.", Narcissa says. Helena smiles. "Any time. And also.. Draco. If you need help with any subjects, don't hesitate asking me. I'll always help you out. You're as good as family anyways." "Are you sure? I bet you have loads to study." "Yeah. But repeating some subjects is never bad. Keep in mind what I told you about hair gel. See you soon." Helena gently ruffles his hair while he grins at her. "Have a good day, Mr. Malfoy. Mrs. Malfoy. We are off.", Helena says. Both give a respectful nod. Terence gives one back and they get her luggage, then apparate away."What the fuck was that?", Terence asks. Helena sighs. "Dracos father demanded to meet me after I greeted him and boarded the train with him. He only knows I'm a Lupin. I'm not stupid. And neither is Draco. Don't worry." Terence exhales a breath in relief and drops down onto the sofa. "I am so reliefed. Everybody knows Malfoy senior is a deatheater. If he knew who you are.. fuck.. I don't think I'd be able to sleep anymore." Helena smiles and walks over to him, simply bellie flopping onto her boyfriend turned sort of official fiance. "I love you, handsome. And I nothing in the world will ever stop me from doing so. No matter what. I will always be with you.", she says. And Merlin does she mean it. Terence offers her a satisfied smile and gently kisses her before wrapping her up in his arms ever so tightly. Not intending to ever let go.
"I don't talk to Harry anymore.. you know?" He blinks at the girl in his arms. "Why?" "This year he got himself stuck in the chamber of secrets, bitten by a basilisk and battling with one of you know who's horcrux. Ginny Weasley nearly died because the memory of him literally had her under the imperus curse and he in all honesty tried to seduce me. I am so done with that shit. He honestly just ran into the chamber. No help from any actual teacher. Not even notifying one of them about them having found it. You know about my heart.. The pain gets worse whenever I am around him. I can't help but worry when I keep him close. And it's killing me. I talked to Professor Snape and to Percy and Oliver. All three did say I should do whats best for me. But I feel like a coward when I do this. Tell me what to do.. please." Terence sits up a bit and loosely drapes his arms around her waist. "I'm selfish, Helena. I want you all to myself. I want you all mine and all well and healthy. And safe. I know what you want to hear is that family always comes first. But see it this way. You have been choosing your family all your life. First Remus over your aunt, uncle, cousin and brother. Then Professor Snape over your actual head of house McGonagall. Don't even try to deny it. Draco too is like a brother to you. Percy and Oliver are your brothers. I too am your family. And none of us are related by blood to you. Especially not me. That would be weird.." They share a small laugh. "What I want to say is that true courage can be to leave behind those feelings of obligation and natural responsibility and a toxic relationship for your own health. And that is what I want you to do. I need you healthy for many more years. Because I don't want to see you suffer and not be able to make it go away. I'll be sharing my life with you. And I want that to be long and happy. I love you, beautiful." Helena buries her face in his neck and nods. "I want nothing more than that. I'll listen to you. I'll try to."
They kiss and all her troubles leave her mind. Terence was her safe place.
