It came to no suprise to the newlyweds when Dumbledore asked them to join his secret order to fight against Voldemort. And of course both agreed to it. Helena was ready to finish the crippled bastard soul once and for all and Terence would never allow his beloved wife to do such a dangerous thing alone. Therefore it was no surprise when they entered the house on Grimmauld Place 12 in London with a loud crack. "Helena! Terence! It's good to see you.", Dumbledore greets. Helena still hadn't forgiven the old wizard for always loving Harry more and never hesitating to encourage her to sacrifice her life. She, in fact, despised him. But this was more than just a simple matter of a grudge. It was vengence. For her family. For her mother. And for her father, whom she had loved more than anything. For Sirius who suffered pointlessly. For Severus, who lost the one person in the whole world he had loved. For Draco, who suffered under the brutal discipline his parents force him under. For Harry. The boy who lived but lost his life. For her, who lost herself.
"I am ready to fight, Dumbledore. And I am not here for your call. I'm here for my family. What do you need?"

The warplans of the order of the phoenix were not very good. Helena knew of their chances. They were not very likely to ever succeed with their plans. She wasn't ever one to loose a game of chess. And her dark visions only increased by the time the news about the quidditch world cup reached her ears. Of course she was still in her educational phase to becoming an auror, so she hadn't been there, but at least she was pushed up in the classes. Her pyrokinesis earning her a ton of respect.
She was riled up. Her body always ready for the worst. After 3 more weeks that they had heard of death eaters attacking private households they simply decided, it was getting too dangerous in their apartment and instead moved out by nighfall. Just in time appareantly. Since just the next day their old apartment was in shambles. Hidden amongst muggle houses they had simply fixed up an old wizarding home of the Weatherbee family. A long died out pureblood family. Wiped out when Grindelwald was first rising. It was the most secore place the two could think of. After all.. The Weatherbees were relatively unknown. Only one achievement in their entire families history. Walter Weatherbee had, in 1876 created the confudus charm. Now very common knowledge and taught at every school. That was how, after skimming through hundreds of books and files, Helena had found the house. Very similarly hidden like the Blacks home. And very similarly decorated. Only that the entire house was covered so thickly in cobwebs and dust it tickled when they breathed in the air. Swinging their wands they clean the entire place up. Fixing everything. After all, they despised the thought of living in a dumpster.

These times were cursed. And they were cursed to live through them. But at least they had each other. And the comfort they found in each others touch. They didn't need much else.

The news of Harry participating in the triwizard tournament hit home hard. But despite offering to come to the school and help, Dumbledore denied. A choice that cost the innocent boy Cedric Diggory his life. And that ressurected Voldemort. A horrible choice indeed, if either of them were asked.

In Harry's fifth year then Dolores Umbitch, the cunt Helena had the pleasure of humiliating in court when proving Sirius's innocence, became the new DADA teacher. Students were tortured. And Snape send them a message. Voldemort had Sirius and they were in the department of mysteries. Of course Helena knew it wasn't possible and Sirius completely healthy. But she also knew Harry and her duty.
She was heading to war.
