She could heart her heartbeat, having the same pace as the clock. She knew her time was limited as the air was being slowly ripped and snatched away from her lungs. Every second was a living hell as she relived the pain of dying again.
She stayed on the ground, unable to move as her eyes desperately tried to keep her awake. Her brain was giving signals to her body to rest, but for this time she knew the rest would last longer than her normal ones.
