Cas hadn't talked to Dean in three days and Dean was starting to get nervous. He hadn't stopped thinking of what Cas had said since Saturday. Even though he always thought he was joking, was it possible that he had been hurting people as much as Cas said? Dean tried to assure himself that Cas was lying, but deep down, he knew that he had probably messed up a lot of people. He knew his jokes went way too far way too much.

He could hear his nutrition teacher calling his name, but he didn't really care. He only needed to make sure his grades didn't go below a C and he'd be able to stay in football. Otherwise, grades didn't matter. Plus, Meg always forgot about what happened about an hour after it happened, so class participation didn't matter anyways.

The clock ticked on, catching Dean's attention. There was only a few minutes until his third period math class. Only a few minutes until he was in class with Cas.

He was more nervous than he thought he would be. He didn't even really like Cas. He just felt really guilty. Damn it Cas, Dean thought, stop making me feel guilty.

"Dean," Meg's voice sounded tired and dopey, "just answer my question already. I'm getting tired of asking it."

Dean rolled his eyes. He had more important things to worry about than a nutrition class. He glanced at the clock again. Just another minute until math class.

Meg rolled her eyes and sighed, "Just leave, I dont care."

Dean was grateful that the school didn't care enough about nutrition classes to get a proper teacher. The class got up, slowly grabbing their bags and filing through the door. Dean nervously strayed behind, sticking his hands in his Letterman jacket. He grabbed his bag and hesitated before leaving through the door. He rushed to math, hoping to get there before other people started arriving.

As he walked into the class, he glanced around and saw Cas and two other kids who were talking in the corner. He hoped they'd keep ignoring him and looked back at Cas. He was staring straight forward, clearly making an effort to not acknowledge Dean.

Dean walked over and cleared his throat. He could see Cas' eyes roll and his shoulders hunch in a sigh. "What, Dean."

Dean stuck his hand into his pocket and retrieved a brightly colored rainbow sticker in the shape of a heart. He held it out in front of Cas' eyes. Cas paused and stared at the heart. He looked from the heart, to Dean, then back to the heart.

Dean looked at him, frowning, "I'm sorry about what I said. I'm pretty sure that you're gay because people have talked about it and I know that gay people like rainbows so..."

Cas' mouth curled up into a smile as a laugh escaped through his lips. He took the sticker from Dean's hand and slid it into his backpack. Cas looked back at Dean, "So, how long did it take for to come up with that absolutely awful apology."

"It wasn't awful," Dean frowned and looked at Cas, confused as to what Cas thought was bad.

"It was incredibly awful. I'm not sure if I should be offended or just be glad you apologized."

"You should be glad. I worked hard to come up with that apology."

This was even funnier to Cas. The idea that Dean sat there and thought about what he was going to say and decided on this mess made the apology even better.

"I forgive-" Cas was halfway through his sentence before a muscular guy about Dean's height appeared behind him and interrupted Cas. The guy sported a Letterman jack that was nearly identical to Dean's.
