💚Kota💚
She's so beautiful. With her long, wavy dirty blonde hair that changes its shade in different lightings. Her rare smiles that light up the room and show her gleaming white teeth that are perfectly straight and tiny. Her cute button nose that scrunches up when she's confused. A sprinkle of golden freckles dust across it and along her fair cheeks underneath her eyes. Oh, her eyes. A beautiful light green that look so haunted they make my heart stop beating every time I look at them. She's been through so much. Still going through so much.
I've technically only had two conversations with her, but I wish I could change that number. The poor girl doesn't even know the affect she has on everyone in this house. She's too busy battling with her inner demons to really see what's happening around her. My brothers like her. All of them. How can you like someone you don't even know? I've barely talked to her and am crushing on her. I've never had a crush on a girl before. Girls are not common anymore. There's only at least a couple hundred in the whole world left. I'm pretty sure Sang doesn't even know about the shortage either. Everything about her is mysterious. I just want to know everything about her.
I still don't understand why her boyfriend, who looks like he was carved out of pure gold, would have my brothers compete to be in her so called harem when she didn't even have the slightest clue about it. She does now. Her reaction scared me. She was deadly calm, but her eyes revealed how she truly felt. She was surprised, confused, hurt and lonely. She looked as if she couldn't trust anyone but herself, yet she let me carry her and smiled at me like I was her hero. Me, a hero. Ugh, I sound like a lovesick fool.
My mood quickly changes as I think back to when I finally caught a glimpse of her in the light when I brought her inside an hour ago. She looked like she went through Hell. Her hair was a mess, her clothes torn, bruises and scratches covered her body and her back was bare with first degree burns. They took her to the obstacle course. I subconsciously feel my hands curl into fists. Why would they take her there? Gabriel and Luke are so attached to her and always staring at her with hearts in their eyes. Marc is no different, but makes his feelings a little less obvious.
Things aren't adding up. Something had to of happened to make them do that to her. Whatever that was said or done does not make it okay for them to do that though. I glance at the three of them out of the corner of my eye and frown. They look miserable. Good. They should feel bad about their actions.
"Alright, gentlemen, that concludes tonight's meeting. If any of you wish to speak to me in private, then stay here. Goodnight to the rest of you." Mr Blackbourne straightens his maroon tie and nods to everyone that is getting up to go to bed. Everyone but Sean and I leave.
"Kota, how are you feeling?" Sean's normally cheerful features twist down into a concerned frown.
"I'm fine, Sean," I sigh and ignore the ache in my chest.
"Kota, I think it's time for you to talk about how you feel about," Sean pauses and his eyes hold a look of pain as he continues, "what happened. Holding it all in isn't good for you. I've given you as much time as I can for you to not grieve. It's time, Kota. It will help. I promise."
It won't help. I know it won't. "No, I'm fine. I've gotten over it." I shake my head and hope he'll give it a rest already.
"Kota, you haven't even cried. That's not good. You'll explode one day and it will be so painful and I don't want you to be in that situation by yourself. Please." Sean stares at me like I'm going to break any second.
