(Y/N) POV.

We walked in and I pulled out a mat for Dogmeat to rest on out of my pack. He laid down showing instant relief. I pulled up a chair next to him amongst the store racks. The building was in bad shape, shelves and their product's spilled on the ground, vines hung from the ceilings, and nuclear fallout had made its permanent residence. Despite it all the sun still hung high, which is a pretty big surprise to me, the world could completely crumble around and it would still rise in the East and fall in the West.

'Been a while since I've seen the daylight. Guess I always seem to travel at night. Most nights I don't even mean to, it just kinda happens.

"Look women I don't care what the boss says I'm not gonna do it, it's a complete suicide mission, and I happen to love myself." I startled at the noise, almost falling off my chair before catching myself and rolling to a crouch, low to the ground.

"You better watch yourself there, boss appointed ME as captain. If I were to mention this little incident to him in my next report I don't think he'll be very happy."

"Ok I get, I was only joking around. I'd do anything for the Captain's sake, ya know I'm loyal Sal- ... Eh Captain." The man's voice was shaky, I could hear his voice coming from the street behind the shop.

'Who are they?'

"Good..."

I crawled across the shop and I saw a back door that before the war would have been used for employees to take any delivered goods into the shop. I opened the steel door a crack with a low squeak emitting from the hinges, causing me to cringe at the sound.

"...cause I would hate to waste the bosses time on someone so insignificant."

There were two of them one a male with a scruffy look, longer hair, and a double-barrel shot gun. The other was a woman, carrying a large mini gun.

'Raiders... There's gotta be more of em, they never travel in such a small group. If I'm gonna get rid of them I gotta separate them. I don't need to get shot up today.' I take a can of beans that was lying on the floor and throw it at a building to the left of the shop, the impact of the can hitting the hard brick wall made a sound that echoed through the silence of the street.

"What was that." Yelled the women

"I'll go check that out, you stay here, make sure nothing sneaks up on us from behind." She clutched her gun and walked in the direction of where I had thrown the can. The man turned away from me aiming his gun as if he were looking for something. I opened the door a bit further being careful to not make any noise. I stayed low and ducked behind a phone booth that was close to the building. A twig snapped not too far from my left the man started to move closer to the noise. With each step, he took my body became stiffer.

'I- i- i can't move, this isn't good.'
