"I got!" (Y/N) exclaimed getting something out of her bag and jostling the lock a bit, before a subtle click is heard. She reaches for the handle and slowly turns it opening the door and stepping through it.
"Wait a second, where'd you learn to pick a lock?" I said a bit of a grin on my face.
"Picked up a bit from watching Kait, figured it would prove useful." She said waving her hand slightly.
"Well well, i see you're back, brought some friends i see the boss will not be pleased."
Maccready's Prov.
Curie and i had ducked in the control room for 20 minutes and i getting a bit antsy. I haven't seen any signals yet or anything to tell me the other groups have gotten to there spots.
'Ugh i just wished they'd hurry.' I peeked over the window, saw nothing and sat down with my back to the wall.
"Are they ready yet?" Curie walked over with a bunch of half crumpled papers in her arms.
"Nah." I sighed
"What? Why not, is everyone alright? Did someone get injured?!" Curie poked her head out of the window, droping the papers she had.
"Get down from there, you're gonna get us caught!" I shouted with a whisper. Grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her down.
She landed on her bottom with a slight thud, a low "ow" escaping her lips.
"What do we do then?" She raps her arms around her legs posting her chin on her knees.
"Let's shine our signal one more time." Curie passed me a little piece of metal, which i turned in the light so streams of light would hit where Hancock and Strong are supposed to be. After a few seconds there was a stream of light in reply.
"I think that was the signal, their ready." I said setting up my sniper rifle.
"Really?!" Curie gathered up the papers on the floor placing them in her pouch.
I took aim at the raider in the center of a small group of four that were playing cards. "Ya ready, once i take this shot it's gonna be chaos."
"I'm ready." Her face full determination.
I held my breath steadying my rifle aiming for the man's head. The man's head exploded in an instant. There was a moment on shock-riden silence before a series o cusses and swears. Followed with gun fire the Minute Men troops comeing down with full force. I look put towards the stair case to see Nick and (Y/N) running down them.
'This better work.'
