We keep low to the ground as we crawled from one cover to the next. We stoped at a huge bolder over looking the quarry. I looked over at the control center Curie and Maccready should be hiding out in, looking for any sign they arrived. I watched and waited and a flash of light a blinded be for a second and i knew they were alive, so far at least. One after another all the groups gave the signal and so did we. There was a silence and in a split second gun fire like roaring thunder and we knew it was time.
Nick's Prov.
A large clash broke out, bullets wizzing by in every direction. We sprinted cross the field behind the quarry attempting to make it t
o the stairs without being spotted. When you reached the staircase a man yelled followed by soaring in our direction bouncing off the walls as they just scarcely missed us. As we made the bottom of the stairs I shoved (Y/N) into the room, following suit i closed the door behind me.
"You alright Doll?" I said allowing her to catch her breath.
"Ya- I'm- fine- Nick." She got up steadying her breathing. "We can't stay here long they know we're in here those goons are bound to come after us." The room before us was more like a hallway. It was dark only a couple of lights shone, different sized and colored wiers lined the wall. We sunk down the hall in looking for signs of where they could have taken Dogmeat.
"Got any idea Nick?" (Y/N) stoped to turn to me.
"If ya mean where they go your pup held up, i don't exactly have a map of this place. Are best bet is ta just keep on go down here we'll evently fine something. I turned to continue on our trek. After a few minutes we we hit a door it was locked and it didn't seem there was another way in.
"Of course the one time we need Kait she's not around." I mutterd softly
"I got!" (Y/N) exclaimed getting something out of her bag and jostling the lock a bit, before a subtle click is heard. She reaches for the handle and slowly turns it opening the door and stepping through it.
"Wait a second, where'd you learn to pick a lock?" I said a bit of a grin on my face.
"Picked up a bit from watching Kait, figured it would prove useful. She said waving her hand slightly.
"Well well, i see you're back, brought some friends i see the boss will not be pleased."
