Due to Remus' demand, Deceit and Remus wound up doing some cosplay. Besides, was a rainy day and they were always wanting to try something new.

It had taken them a while to figure out who to cosplay as, but Remus had come up with a genius idea and Dee loved it.

Being theatre nerds, they were both avid fans of Beetlejuice the musical, and Deceit had to say, it was ironic, almost, how much they matched the characters. Deceit managed to salvage some bits of clothing for the dorky couple and they began the fun. Remus was twirling round, draped in a glamorous feather boa as Dee shook his head fondly.

He was slightly anxious about what he'd gotten himself into but he knew Remus wouldn't push him.

Remus ended up finding a cute stripy suit to wear and summoned a hideous shade of green hair dye. I mean, it was simple enough for him!

Well, alas, it was the dreaded time.
Deceit had to go and get his outfit on.
Hesitantly, he pulled on a lacy black dress, fingers tracing the carefully stitched frills. He then picked out an old black choker, possibly something he'd borrowed from Virgil, doing up the cold metal clasp. Lipstick was the last part to complete the look.

He took a deep breath, and stopped.

Why was he so anxious? He wasn't dressing up for an audience, it was just silly cosplay with Remus, for God's sake. Remus, who he loved and trusted!

Remus, waiting for him, tapped a foot impatiently. "Deeeee, come onnnn!"

Deceit pouted. "No. I look ridiculouss."

Remus frowned. "Dee Dee! You'd look great in a potato sack."

Deceit snickered at that. "Fine." He slowly drew back the curtain and Remus' jaw dropped.

"You look so cute as Lydia!" He squealed, leaping up to hug his boyfriend. "You think?" Deceit, not fully reassured, fiddled with his choker. "Sure!" Remus was always honest. He garbled off a list. "You look sooo pretty - beautiful! And that... lipstick brings out your eyes and you look really, really sexy!" Deceit laughed at his outburst. "Not so bad yourself," he purred, pulling Remus in for a smooch.

Hm. It seemed Remus' ideas always worked out, in the end.

Deceit was currently proudly gazing at his reflection in the mirror, swinging his hips. Remus came up from behind, wrapping his arms around Dee's waist. "Ever the narcissist." He smirked. Dee elbowed him, crossing his arms. "Whatever."

He twirled in his frock, admiring the spinning material, and Remus gazed at him fondly.

All he could feel was love for the man before him.
