You sit alone in your apartment on a Tuesday night, anime turned up loud and playing Pokemon Red on you Gameboy. You sigh and look up at the clock.
It's almost 9. You have to be at Links by 10. You pause the game, click off the anime and get up to shower and get out at about 9:30.
You start putting on your normal clothes, but then remember its a party. And Link set a dress code. Sighing, you slip on a Cosplay, knowing how if you didn't Link would be angry. And scary.
Looking up at the clock once more, you see that it is only 9:45 and it doesn't take you long to get to where the party is. You open the Gameboy up and head to Victory Road. You play for ten minuets then grab your car keys and set out to where the party is.
You arrive right at 10 and look up. Before you is a gigantic mansion that has grand oak doors that you walk through and gasp at the sight before you.
You see a grand ballroom with streamers and a buffet table that has just about ever food imaginable. There is a stage that is playing music, and a disco floor.
You look around and see Link yelling at CM and Casey who are helping to set up.
Link sees you and run over, embracing you in a bone-crushing hug while saying, "Oh! (y/n)! You made it! Now, I still need help setting up the Anime screening room, music room number 3, the Game Corner, and that should be it. CM! Casey! You to go set up the Anime room and the music room. Me and (y/n) will handle the Game Corner. Lets go!"
Without even uttering a hello, you are dragged through endless hallways until you come to a door marked 'Game Corner'. You set inside and see ever game imaginable to man. Link has you start setting up the retro games while she get the more modern games ready.
You finish at 10:50, and Link leads you back to the ball room.
CM and Casey walking in there just in time, saying hello and turning to Link.
Link is about to say something when the door rings and all the other readers enter, talking, mingling, and one sitting in the corner crying. You found that strange, usually it took a few minuets at Link's parties before people where crying.
Link clears her throat and begins, "Hello and welcome, loyal reader of my random book. I have invited you all to party in the book, for as long as you like. This is to celebrate 50 whole parts of my random book. Currently we are residing in my mind mansion. Here you can go anywhere. Now go mingle and party to celebrate!"
You smile and walk off, but before you can go to far Link stops you, "I would like to thank you personally, (y/n), so thanks! Now go have fun!"
You nod and walk off, ready to go hang out with the other readers.
