The young mayor coughed nervously and adjusted his dark blue shirt, standing outside of the town hall, waiting to get the courage to walk in. After another few seconds he took a deep breath and stepped inside the building.
He walked up to the oak desk and smiled at the blonde secretary, "Isabell, I brought you this."
The girl looked up and blushed, "O-Oh! You brought this, for me?"
The mayor nodded, "I was just out fishing and I saw it lying in the sand, and I remembered you had said you always wanted a shell." That was a lie. Yesterday, when the secretary had said she wanted a shell, he spent hours walking up and down the sandy beach looking for the perfect one. He finally settled on a pearl-oyster, because he thought it was as beautiful as the girl he was giving it too.
Smiling, but still red, Isabell thanked the mayor and went back to her papers. The mayor tuned and left looking up at the blue sky as he did so.
A few weeks after that, it was the Fourth of July. The brown haired mayor walked towards the town center, where he knew the shy secretary would be. The made sure the red, thorn-less rose was still in good condition before he approached Isabel.
"Um, Isabell? I have a present for you..." The boy said, nervously shuffling his feet.
Smiling, the secretary turned around, "You brought me a gift?"
Nodding, the mayor shoved the rose in front of him, turning away so Isabell couldn't see his blush. When he got no response from the young lady, he began to walk away, tilting his head down in shame and not making eye contact with people he knew.
He was about to enter his house when he heard his name being called and foot steps behind him. He turned and saw Isabell, panting from running after him.
He was about to say something when Isabel gave him a small peck on the cheek and she said, "Thank you for the rose, Mayor. It's very pretty. And I have to say, I feel the same." The girl turned and walked away, leaving a speechless mayor standing there as his face turned more and more red with each passing second.
"Well, I am certainly going to be in the town hall more often..." The mayor said to no one, before he walked inside his house.

I hope it was good... and for those of you who didn't get it, giving someone a thorn-less rose means love at first sight. Thanks for requesting and the other requests are soon to follow!
