By request, I've skipped a line after every quotation....

The one who always stands out, the one who always is there, the one is always watching, and the one who is always cares. Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies. A man reserves his true and deepest love not for the species of woman in whose company he finds himself electrified and enkindled, but for that one in whose company he may feel tenderly drowsy. Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable. A flower cannot blossom without sunshine, and man cannot live without love.
‘I want to find them Nath, I want to find my parents’ I whispered.
I lay awake in bed, wrapped in Nathan’s arms. His head tossed and turned before he faced me. His eyes were still firmly shut, yet he was still asleep.
‘But you don't know that Elizabeth isn't your real mum' he croaked.
'But Nath, we found the adoption papers. It has to be true' I sighed.
He nodded briefly before letting go of me. He sat up in the bed and stared at me. 'I'll help you' he whispered. 'We can start right away' I squealed.
'Fine, but can we sleep for a while?' he pleaded.
'Alright you lazy sod!' I laughed.
'I love you' he announced before pecking my lips quickly.
I felt my cheeks heat up, before he hid his face in his hands.
'I love you like a sister' he added. It felt like someone was punching me in the stomach, before running off and leaving me all alone, lying on the ground.
'I love you too' I whispered as a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
He appeared in front of me again, this time he was kneeling down at my side. I pecked his lips, wanting to kiss him for longer, but I couldn't.
'Yo, my best friend, best friend til the very end, Cause best friends, best friends don't have to pretend, You need a hand and I'm right there right beside you, You in the dark, I'll be the bright light to guide you, 'Member the times, times, times sneaking of the house, All of the times, times, times you had the doubts, And don't forget all the trouble we got into, We got something you can't undo, do.
Laughing so damn hard, Crashed your dad's new car, All the scars we share, I promise, I swear.
Wherever you go, just always remember, That you got a home for now and forever, And if you get low, just call me whenever, This is my oath to you, Wherever you go, just always remember, You're never alone, We're birds of a feather, And we'll never change, no matter the weather, This is my oath to you.'
I picked up my phone, recognising the number immediately. It was the number I called when I was sick, the number I called when I was down and the number I called when things with mum were bad. My finger hovered over the accept button.
'Mo, Mol, Mollie?' I stuttered.
'I need to see you. Be at the cafe at half eleven' she spat before hanging up. 'Well that short and sweet' Nathan laughed.
'She wants to see me later. I think it's urgent' I whispered.
'I'll come with you' he decided.
'Nath, if she sees us together, she'll think we're together and we're not' I shrugged. 'I'll wear a disguise. I'll sit five tables away from you. You won't know I'm there' he protested. I rolled my tongue over my teeth, contemplating his offer. ‘Fine’ I laughed.
