C H A P T E R - T W E N T Y T H R E E

Nice to meet you, where you been?
I could show you incredible things
Magic, madness, heaven, sin
Saw you there and I thought
"Oh, my God, look at that face!"
You look like my next mistake
Love's a game, wanna play?

Song- Blank Space, Taylor Swift.

When I was finally done with putting my messed up clothes into the machine, offcourse after getting fresh and dressed, I decided to look for Amaan. Which I still have no idea where he is. He was not in the kitchen, or in hall when I was making my way down to the basement. And the front door was also locked from inside, which means he's not out for sure.

I went to check the poolside. Nope, he was not there either.

Where is he? I place my both hands on either side of my hips, frowning in confusion.

Then I remember...

What if he is somewhere upstairs?

A sly smile came to my lips. Guess, today is the day to explore the mysterious first floor.

With my eyes scanning the polished wooden steps, I made my way through to stairs. My bare feets against the cold woods were giving me advantage of being as silent as I want to be.

By the top of the stairs, I find myself standing at one end of a deemed corridor.

The structure and the designing of the floor was similar to hallway downstairs. Same dark and shining wooden floor and walls. Pale yellow lights installed in the ceiling.

There were four rooms in total. Three wooden doors on the left side and one glass door at the other end of the corridor.

With mild interest, I slide my hand over the smooth polished wooden wall before twisting the golden knob of the first door.

It was yet another bedroom, just like others downstairs.

Exactly how many bedrooms does this house have?

Deciding not to go further inside the room, I went for the another door.

The first thing my eyes fell on after opening the door were dimly lit glass shelves at the opposite end of the big room. More like another Hall.

I stepped inside and the lights automatically went on, almost blinding me for a second. I pinch my eyes together to get used to the brightness before taking in the content of the room.

Offcourse, this place has a bloody bar room.

I scanned every part of the room before fixing my eyes back on the wooden glass shelf. They were huge floor to ceiling multi layer glass shelves. Bottles of every kind of liquor I have had ever seens were arranged sophisticatedly on each racks. Beautiful wine glasses of different shapes and sizes were adoring the glass cabinets on either side of the shelf. Dark marble countertop and four bar stools just like some expensive night club sat opposite to the homemade bar. A grand piano of dark woods stood on the middle of the room. Other than that, the rest room was almost empty. No windows, no expensive monuments or paintings hanging all around like everywhere else in the house.
