Harlow kicked at the ground as he walked, he muttered words to himself bitterly. Poor (Y/n) was far too deluded to see that William was going to hurt her.

Harlow knew that William was leaving that day, what if he came back with a vengeance. That wouldn't do.

A blue duvet crept into sight and Harlow smiled at his friend. He quickened his pace as he approached Ivan.

"I need some advice." He stated.

Ivan blinked a few times at Harlow, he wasn't normally this... happy. "Okay, What do you want to know?"

"I have this problem. I want to get rid of it but there's someone who I really care for who would be mad if I did. But if I don't get rid of the problem then that person could be seriously hurt." He avoided mentioning the word 'murder'.

"Well, then I think you should get rid of it." Ivan didn't really care but answered in the most logical way. "If this thing is going to hurt them then they'll be glad you got rid of it in the long run, even if they're mad at first."

Harlow nodded. "That's what I think too." He turned to Ivan. "I need to go do something but next time I see you, I'll pick up one of those donuts you like."

(Okay, so for the remainder of this chapter the story is going to split into two.
If it's written like this , then it is (Y/n)'s part.
If it is written like this, then it is Harlow's part.
It is still third person.
Hope this clears up any confusion!
Sorry if this makes zero sense just bare with me and hopefully it will become clear.
Back to the story!)

A few days passed and (Y/n) was back at the Fenton mansion. Penelope was too absorbed in speaking to different catering companies to stop her. William had left earlier to go to the airport as he was going on a retreat before heading home before he'd come back for the engagement party.

(Y/n) was determined to see Victor and figure out their issues.

Harlow saw a familiar black car pull into the gas station. He recognised it from outside the bar and outside the courthouse. He knew fully well that it was William's, and if that wasn't proof enough then William stepping out of it would be.

It wasn't as if this was any accident. Harlow had planned this in his head from the day he'd spoken to (Y/n) in the café. He knew how long William's car would last before he would need gas.

Harlow's bike was parked aside and he was pretending to examine some products in the store but his attention was more focused on the man outside.

She was unsure in her steps as she ascended the staircase, she was afraid that everything would be different. He had told her that he loved her, that would have to change their dynamic.

Her heart thumped loudly in fear.

William stepped through the doors. He, Harlow and a bored looking man at the till were the only souls in the store. Harlow's eyes gazed up at the security camera... that was going to be a problem.

His heart thumped loudly in fear.

She stopped outside his room. The tension built up inside of her. She wanted to knock at the door but her hand halted. She couldn't do it.

She walked to the bathroom.

Harlow lowered the cap on his head, discretely taking a glance at William. He didn't want to be recognised. William seemed to be taking a while which was all the better for him but camera would still ruin everything...
