(Y/n) made eye contact with herself in the mirror. It was Saturday night and she had got herself ready to go clubbing with Yvonne and her friends. She nervously brushed through her hair for about the tenth time, wanting to look as good as she possibly could. She didn't need to use any blush that night, her cheeks were permanently red from thinking about Yvonne. Her phone began to ring, snapping her out of her daze. It was Victor. "Hi, you okay?" She asked, he didn't normally call her in the evenings.
"I'm fine, I was just wondering if you wanted to come over. I only just stopped working with my dad, hence why this is coming so late in the day." Victor paced his room, frustrated at his father for keeping him from (Y/n) for so long.
"Oh, I'd love to but I'm going out with a friend tonight. Maybe another time?"
"What friend?" Victor shot back, praying to every angel in heaven that she wasn't referring to Harlow.
"It's just this girl..." (Y/n) trailed off, not wanting to give too much away. "I met her a few weeks ago and she's invited me out to a club with some of her friends."
Victor was relieved that Harlow didn't seem to be involved, he was also relieved that this 'friend' was female. He didn't like (Y/n) having any connections with people other than him (and maybe Penelope from time to time) whether they were male or female, but he'd definitely take the latter, being unaware of (Y/n)'s affinity for both.
"Well, be careful. Don't drink too much and don't do drugs. If you are going to drink, never leave it unattended and-"
"I know, I know, I'm a grown woman I can take care of myself." (Y/n) rolled her eyes, glad they were on a phone call so she wouldn't get a lecture about it.
'But you shouldn't have to.' He thought.
"I know you can, I'm just warning you is all." He actually said out loud.
"Thank you. I'll see you around." (Y/n) pressed that red button to hang up, she could do without Victor's advice.
She put her phone in her purse and checked her appearance one more time before making her way to the nightclub.
Blaring music and flashing lights surrounded (Y/n) as she entered. Sweaty bodies flung themselves about the room, some repeatedly slamming into her. She just wanted to find Yvonne and then hope the atmosphere gets a bit better once she had something to drink.
"(Y/n)! Over here!" She just about made out from over the noise. Turning in the direction of the call she spotted Yvonne with three other people sitting at one of the tables that scattered around the walls.
(Y/n) wriggled her way through the crowd, muttering a apology to everyone she came into contact with.
"Hey, Yvonne." (Y/n) shouted as she arrived, raising her volume in order to actually be heard.
"What?!" Yvonne yelled back, cupping her ear.
(Y/n) was about to respond but decided that it was hopeless and just waved.
Yvonne smiled. "This are my friends," She pointed to each person as she said their name. "Eva, Brandon and Jack."
(Y/n) could barely make out their features so just just screamed a 'hello' at them.
"Do you want to dance?!" (Y/n) asked Yvonne loudly.
"Sure!" The waitress jumped out of her seat and pulled (Y/n) into the crowd. Yvonne moved herself around wildly, not caring for what anyone else was doing in that moment.
