Maya

It was a Saturday morning I felt the sun rays come through my window

I checked my phone and I had a text from Riley

"Maya I need to meet with you ASAP."

I really didn't feel like getting up at all I was to tired ..of nothing.

But I had to get up my bestfriend needs me for some weird reason.

I put a black shirt ripped jeans and a red/ black flannel around my waist grabbed my skateboard and head out .

It was really hard to skateboard in New York to many people arg.

But I got to Riley's and climbed up to her window put my skateboard in first then my body.

"Hey I got your text what's up?" I ask normally

"Did you know Lucas went on a date with Piper I mean she's not even that pretty I'm prettier of course and I have a higher gpa then her " she says really fast

Of course this is about Lucas.

"Wow really. I came all the way down here for that I'm tried of this." I say

"What's wrong with you Maya." She says

"Well jeez Riley I don't know maybe that you can't shut up about Lucas. Lucas this Lucas that Lucas looked at me Lucas UGH ! It's annoying talk about something else." I say with out thinking

"Get out." She says serious

"Oh and btw he kissed Piper last night" I say crawling out of her window

I heard her say what?!

But I left I was tired of her only talking about Lucas.

I skated to the park close by I saw Farkel sitting there with Lucas I tried not to be noticed

But it was to late for that.

Farkel waved at me he had his skateboard next to him and so did Lucas.

I skated to them

"Sup losers." I say

"Hello to you to Maya." Lucas says.

"What brings you here you hate parks" Farkel says

"Well Riley got on my nerves so I just head over here." I say calmly

"Really damn." Farkel says

We were just talking when I heard someone call my name it was Riley.

"Jesus Christ I'll see you later." I say skating away far from Riley.

The wind In my hair felt amazing I just kept going to no where just riding a song from The Neighbourhood would be perfect right now.
