Chapter 6: A House of Falling Cards

(The Ninja's POV)

"Cole! What was that! Why'd you put up a wall in Zanes way?"

"What are you talking about? That wasn't me... I was getting the staff remember?" Cole yelled back over the wind, flying on their dragon.

"He is right only you can control the element of earth brother..." Their was a slight hint of anger in Zane's voice but not enough to tell.

Kai, Nya, and Sensei were flying ahead so they didn't hear the others.

"And I'm telling you I didn't do it! Maybe it was the girl did you think about that?" Cole yelled even louder.

Jay complained, "Oh that's great! First she had Lightning and now Earth!? Cole and Zane both look at him funny, "What do you mean?"

Jay blinked. "Remember when we first fought her the first time? And I flew back after she grabbed my nunchucks. She shot me with lighting! What else does she have? Ice? Fire?"

"Wait maybe she's the green-"

"Don't be ridicules Cole, girls can't be ninjas."

"Isn't that a little sexist Jay?"

"Jay have you ever heard the term k~"

"Not now Zane!"

Later that afternoon...

Sensei went to meditate, Nya went to do who knows what, and the boys were out front training.

Jay was training with his nunchucks. Cole was trying to beat the course, Kai was practising spinjitzu and Zane was meditating. All the sudden he sprung up and began to jump everywhere.

Landing in front of Jay making him lose focus, taking Cole's scythe slicing pieces of the course. Confusing Cole, then proceeded to do Spinjitzu, freezing where he just was making Kai fall on Zane's ice.

"The roof isn't big enough for the four of us!" Kai shouted clearly pissed off.

"Correction it's not big enough for him!" Cole corrected

"It's like he can't even HEAR US!" Jay said the last part louder, so Zane might hear them. He didn't. He just threw his shurikens then air kicked. Sensei came to the other three.

"Sensei. Zane's.... Weird!" Kai struggled to admit.

"What is weird someone that is different or someone that is different then you?"

"No Sensei Zane's weird, weird!" Cole explained the time Zane walked in on him sitting on the toilet.

Jay told them about when he and Nya were watching a sad movie and crying, while Zane just laughed though the entire thing.

Then Kai told them about he opened the fridge, and Zane was in the fridge just about to eat a sandwich.

Sensei looked to were Zane was, whom was bowing to a training dummy and hit his head in it.

"We love the guy to pieces, he's really smart, he's just... a bit off..sometimes." Kai admitted.

"Zane is you brother and brothers are often different I should know." Sensei looked to the other three again just as the doorbell sounded.

"Mail!" The three chanted, Zane stood there quietly. The mail man panting, "let's see. A letter from Jay's parents. Kai has a fan letter. Oh, and something from Cole's father."

"No package? I was expecting something from creatures & beyond!"

"Ah no, wait here it is...!" The mail man finished, turned back to the stairs and sighed.

Cole said something more but no one was listening and ran off.

"If I see one girl here I'm flip!"

Seal hears what he said shaking her head. "Sometimes a smack in the head does wonders." The snake whose hand she was fixing couldn't help to laugh.

Once she was finished the snake said thanks and left. Soon night was upon them, all lined up for their food, even Skales mood seemed to increase.

Seal finally got her chance to sit down and eat. "Y'know I never got your name kid..."

"It's Lloyd, Lloyd Garmadon..."

Seal all most choked on her food. First kid she finds and it's the one she was supposed to find? The luck in that!

Now the question is whether to bring him to her boss or not?

"By the way my real name's Sealia and I'm your cousin..."
