Chapter 14: Power of Ice

The Ninja had the stupidest plan ever, to set up flyers around, saying if someone found a fangblade they should call the Ninja.

Sealia stayed on the bounty with Lloyd watching the boys for now last least. Lloyd tugged on her sleeve. "Seal?"

She looked down at him. "Will you teach me how to fight?"

Sealia sighed, he said it such a kid way she couldn't really deny him. "I can try..."

The Ninja in Jamanakai Village, were carrying a stack of papers that Lloyd designed. It just had a picture of a fangblade with the caption "Fangblade" and the Ninja's number.

"This is ridiculous," Zane said after Kai put another flyer up. "You got any better ideas?" Cole scoffed rhetorically.

"Hey! Maybe sensei is gonna get the Samurai!" Jay said as a light wind blew, causing the top flyer of Zane's stack to fly off in front of a store.

"Hey! Weirdo! You're making a mess of my storefront! Yo, you gotta problem?" A man shouts at Zane, Kai ran over to him along side his brothers.

"I'm sorry sir! Sometimes out friend is in another world." Kai excused.

"He's littering all over the place." The man complains. "We'll pick it up, so sorry." Cole tells him as he and the others pretend to pick up the papers.

"Omg, It the falcon! Every time we follow it, it lead us to good fortune!" Jay said and they began to chase after it.

Sealia had saw the ninja running away from the village. "What are you lot up too?" She questioned to her herself mumbling.

Lloyd saw she was distracted and thought he might be able to impress her.

"Heel to toe, not flat foot. It makes your footsteps much heavier." Sealia turned around Lloyd was not even close to her.

"Balance first, when you throw a kick or punch, your body follows. If you lose balance you'll fall leaving yourself wide open for your enemy."

(Ninja's POV)

"I guess good fortune is really far away..." Kai says panting, Jay sat down. "Y..you go on, I'll catch up.. later." Jay finished laying down on the ground.

The rest of them continued on reaching a ravine with a fallen tree across. Zane and Kai ran over the tree waiting for Cole. "J..just taking a breather. I'll meet up with you shortly." He says and Kai and Zane nod to him

After a short while Kai stops, panting. "Good thing... we're in... peak... physical... condition. How... 'bout.. you?" He says between breaths to Zane. Zane continues running though.

The falcon keeps flying, after a while Zane stops and looks at the bird, Kai catching up to him.

"That bird just keeps going! Hey, what do you make of this?" Kai says pointing at a sign that said 'Beware of Treehorns'

"I am not familiar with Treehorns. What do suppose one is?" Zane asked.

"Probably just some wild squirrels..." Kai waved it off. The falcon make a sound signaling follow again. "Well, don't lose it! I'll wait for the other guys." Kai offered and ran after it.

Kai wait for the other ninja to come, when they did, they followed Zane's footprints in the snow. Leading them to a tree with a door. The three of them walking though to see it was much bigger on the inside then outside.

"Zane?" Kai called out starting to walk down the winding staircase.

"Wow! Would you look at this place!" Jay said hearing a bit of an echo not much though.
