Chapter 8: You Did WHAT?!

"You did what?!" I screamed at scales, he only replied with. "We burned down their dojo. Now they have no base or place to train."

"That is enough scales give me the staff!" The general broke the argument. "No." The snakes around us started chanting slither pit over and over.

I had growled under my breath, and whispered to Lloyd. "Let's get out of here before Scales becomes general."

Lloyd shook his head, and I sighed. Later in the stupid fight Scales used something called Fang-Kwon-Do.

Lloyd was shouting, "Get up! Get up!" I placed a hand on his shoulder and shook my head.

"We have a winner!" The serpentine who controled it shouted. The rest started chanting Scales name.

Scales pointed the staff to the previous general, "You will be loyal to me now!" He only responded with, "I will do as you command."

"Both of you leave and never returned!" Scales yelled, but the serpentine who I had fixed his hand asked for me to stay...

"Tch. Over my dead body. I'm not turning my back on Lloyd. Lloyd let's go." I saw what was in his pocket and smiled.

He's good at stealing I'll give him that. We walked out I wasn't poofing us out again, I'm not going to abuse my powers and use them as a crutch.

Lloyd looked sad, but I couldn't help right now. "Hey Lloyd," he looked to me. "We'll go to ninjago city, find a hotel for the night. Then do whatever you want tomorrow okay?" He nodded to my offer.

We poofed there cuz it would take super long on foot to get there. Last time I can do that for awhile, teleporting...

(Ninja's POV)

"Wh-what are we eating again?" Kai asked.

"Mud newt. Not bad for something that lives underground." Cole answered, "What?" Jay spit it out. "Yeah! A new high s-sc-score!" He tried to cheer himself up but it didn't work.
"Remember, we must be thankful for what we still have."

"What do we have, sensei? Our home is gone." Cole said in sorrow with his head down.

"Y'know, I don't miss our home. What I really miss is Zane." Kai admitted.

"Zane?" Nya question as she saw him. "Yeah, Zane. You know, White Ninja. The smart, strange one..."

"No, Zane!" Nya shouted as she pointed to him. Zane had just walked over the hill, everyone else looked to where she pointed. "Zane!"

Zane walked over to them. "Zane! We're so sorry for everything we said! We're a team and that means we're all responsible!" Jay apologised.

"You don't need to apologize to me." Zane said with a smile.

"But what about all of those awful things we said? Isn't that why you left?" Kai asked.

"Of course not! I saw the falcon and I followed him." Zane said calmly.

"That's our Zane!" Cole said happily and hugged him as did the others."We're happy to have you back," Nya said.

"Why is it my turn to make dinner?" Everyone laughed. "Yes Zane we would love for you to make dinner." Sensei said with a smile.

"But I already made it. Come. I want to show you what I've found. I think you'll all be pleased."Zane said as he walked away and the others followed.

"I can't explain it, but I feel a strange contention with the Flacon. I think he's trying to help show us the path we need to take...... Our new home." Zane presented a wreaked ship from long ago when the sand was sea.

"Do I smell pie?" Jay got excited, and Zane started listing them off. Then everyone but Wu and Zane run forward to the ship.

"I'm proud of you Zane. One day, I promise we will find your family."

Zane smiled at the jester. "But I've already found them..."

(Sealia's POV & Time Skip)

I awoke from Lloyd pushing on my shoulder trying to wake me. But I just turned over.

"Seal you said we could do whatever I wanted today! Wake up!" Lloyd continued to shake me, then an idea entered my mind!

I mumbled what I always do to become invisible. Lloyd asked, 'what' to both what I said and what happened.

As quickly and quietly as I could I rolled off the bed, then walked to the other side. He was to confused. I finally reappeared behind him and started to tickle him.

I fell back and just continued to tickle him. "S-st-stop!" He laughed and laughed. I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard with him. That was when I let him go.

We finally caught our breaths. "How do you do that?" He asked.

I shrugged, "What exactly?"

"The thing were you disappeared and reappeared behind me." I made an 'oh' face, then answered. "That's something you can't do, only I can. Sorry." He frowned at me.

"But why?"

"But I probably can teach you to do this." I made a ember appear in my hand after I snapped. He had a face of amazement. "So wanna learn?" I smiled. He frequently nodded in return to answer.

"Follow my instructions and get comfortable." He hopped on the bed and so did I.

I formed his hands in the shape of a ball, neither one of hand was touching. We both could see between his hands. I gently held his wrists.

"Close your eyes and steady your breathing." He was about to complain but I told him, " You want to learn, then please trust me." He then did as I asked. "Picture a flame. Then focus on the sparks at the top."

A tiny spark appeared in his hand and died out. I was taken back he's a quick learner, I let go of his wrist and it reappeared. Was I holding him back? He peaked his eye open and it disappeared.

"Aw..." He put his hands down. "Hey you did better then expected, not just anybody can be taught." I smiled and put my hand on his shoulder.

"Now I'm hungry, you?" He nodded again and smiled back to me.
