Chapter Nine

She snatched her phone from me and left.

I rolled my eyes.

Seth chuckled and led me out the maze.

I went to the refreshment table and got a cup of punch.

The music stopped.

"I believe it is now time to crown our halloween royalty." Einstein said

Cheers and claps went up.

"Your Halloween queen is the hottest Alice I've ever seen." Einstein said

I looked at the stage.

"Riley Quinn!"

I gasped and Seth pulled me to the stage.

Einstein put an orange and black crown on my head.

"Alright..." Einstein said "There was a tie for our Halloween King."

"The winners are Dustin Luchenes and Seth Dreede." Einstein whispered in my ear "Have fun with it."

He put the mike to my mouth.

"The hot pirate, Dustin Luchenes and totally cool vampire, Seth Dreede!" I said

I laughed at Jessie's face.

The guys walked on stage, glaring at each other.

Seth was hot when he was mad.

"What shall I make them do...?" Einstein said "Let's have a dance off."

The guys agreed and Seth put his cloak around my shoulders.

Dustin looked furious.

"First one to kiss our queen wins." Einstein motioned for the music to start and pulled me out the guys' way.

"What?" I said but no one heard me

Dustin went first. Both of them danced well but Seth seemed to be mocking him.

Seth did the chicken dance and I laughed.

Dustin grabbed my hand and spun me around. He dipped then kissed me.

"We have our Halloween king."

I smiled at Seth and returned his cloak. "You're a winner in my eyes."

He smiled.

After that, the party resumed.

"Hello my hot queen."

I turned around. "Hello his majesty."

Dustin smirked. "Why you out here by yourself?"

"Getting fresh air." I said

He nodded. "Me too."

I looked up at the moon. "They say strange things happen on a full moon. But how could that happen? Full moons are so beautiful."

"They are. Just like someone I know."

I looked at him. "You do?"

"Yes." he said

"What's her name?"

"I'd rather not say." he answered sitting on the porch railing

"Why?"
