A tall guy blocked my view.
I pulled away and went over.
"Travis!" I squealed and jumped on him

He looked the same as ever.
"I missed you!" I said
He laughed. "Missed you too, Smiley."
I laughed then hit him.
"Ow."
"That's for not calling, texting, or visiting."
He smiled sheepishly. "I'm sorry, Ry. Schools just been crazy. I've ha so many essays and tests due... This is my first free weekend."
I nodded.
We caught up then went and had fun.
I caught Tyler and Jessie making out in a corner.
I shook my head and made my way through the crowd.
"Hey gorgeous." A voice said in my ear
I turned and Seth kissed me.
The music stopped and the lights flickered.
"What's going on?" I asked
Seth looked confused as I felt.
Travis came over to us. "Look."
I turned to the stage.
"No..." I whispered as Asmit looked around the crowd
I heard the doors slam shut.
"Happy birthday Riley." She said as Miranda stood behind her
I stepped into the clearing. "Why can I do for you? If I haven't already."
"You think your so smart." She said "So pretty. So... perfect. I don't think you'll like to hear the news seeing how you're not any of those things."
"I may not be perfect but thanks for calling me pretty." I said
She narrowed her eyes.
I held my hand up. "Really? You use that spell?"
Her eyes widened.
I pushed the wave of sound around her.
She cringed.
Miranda sent a bolt of lightning my way.
Seth blocked it.
"Ah, brother." She said "Have you really fallen? Wait till father hears about this. She'll be dead before you know it. Before you can even blink."
"Don't you dare threaten me, Miranda. You think I care what father has to say?" Seth's voice took on a mincing tone "Lay one finger on her and I'll kill you."
"But I'm your sister."
"Half sister. Don't think I didn't find out."
Asmit came at me.
I kicked her and she rolled away.
I called for my weapon box and took out my sword as she called hers.
I hated Asmit. She always thought less of me when it was unnecessary.
I blocked attacks from her. I caused her to drop her sword. I kicked it away from her reach and walked towards her.
"And to think you were my favorite cousin." I said
Fear flashed in her eyes.
"I know it was you who got Levimore on me." I chuckled. "To think you had power over me. Didn't you hear about why happened to Rebecca? My own mother. Oh don't worry she's not dead. Just... Imprisoned."
"You don't know how to use all that power. That power should've been mine. You don't deserve it!"
I planted my sword in the ground by my feet. "I don't? At least I help people and not kill them. But you can be the first person I kill. I'll make it quick and painless."
"You wouldn't dare." She said "That thing can't kill me."
"You've forgotten who the golden one chose. You were there. You saw it come to me." I said "After all... Whom ever dies by my sword is dead forever. The golden one has blessed me with being stronger. Unlike you. What does-"
I blocked an attack.
Miranda tossed Asmit her sword.
I glared at Miranda. "And we could've been friends, but you want to die."
Seth stared at me.
I smiled at him. "But seeing how you're Seth's sister, I'll let him decide what to do with you."
Asmit lunged at me. "You're so inconsiderate!"
"I gave you a choice." I said blocking attacks "Leave or die."
"Death it is."
"So be it." I practically growled
I pulled my sword up as she drew hers down. I pushed her off and heard a chuckle.
"Alice." I said coldly
"Kill her." She told Asmit
I made Asmit fall and cast a spell so she couldn't move.
"Useless twerp." Alice said "I paid you to get rid of her."
"Tsk, tsk, tsk." I said taking long, but slow strides towards her. "I told what would happen if you didn't leave me alone, but hiring my cousin to kill me is really low."
"You think I care."
"Looks like tonight going to to be a bloody one." I said as demons appeared
I jumped off the stage and killed all o them with the help of Seth and my friends.
I looked at my dress that was now covered in daemon blood then at Alice.
"Dying by my sword is nothing to be proud about."
Her eyes widened in fear.
I watched her fall unconscious.
I felt dizzy and my vision blurred.
"Riley!"
I fell.
