I walked out the doors to my car and went over to Brew.

(Seth's POV)
"Hey Seth!"
I stopped and looked.
"Hey Paul."
There was a guy next to him. He looked exactly like Paul, but with glasses.
"This is my twin Saul. Saul my best friend, Seth."
"Hey." he said
I shook his hand. "'Sup."
"You going to the firework display?"
"Yeah, but after I visit Riley."
We stopped talking about New Years and started talking about Saul and why he was here.
Apparently because his school was shut down.
"See you Saul."
"Later."
Paul and I ran to class.
~ Saul's POV ~
Seth seemed nice.
Who's Riley?
They helped me to class then ran off.
I walked inside the building and a girl walked up to me.
"You know Paul and Seth?"
"Yeah...?"
"I'm Fern. You are?"
"Paul's twin, Saul."
She smiled.
~ Seth's POV ~
"He doesn't seem all that bad." I said
"He's bad alright." Paul said "Just wait..."
I shook my head.
"Page two-forty. Read it and you'll have an assignment on it for homework." Professor James said fixing her glasses
Paul and I got to work.
After class, Paul agreed to meet me at Brew then went to get his brother.
I got in my car and put my head against the steering wheel.
I felt as if I list half of me. And it was getting worse.
"When are you waking up, Ry?" I whispered then went to Brew
Ruth was at the hospital so it was me, Sam, and Jessie taking over Riley's shift.
"Hey." she said
I smiled and went in the back.
The place was like a river; silent but flowing. Well somewhat. The place was quiet but busy.
"Seth, we're closing." Jessie said "And happy New Year."
I nodded and finished sweeping the floor.
Paul and Saul were at the door.
"Seth smile some." Paul said when we got to the house "Ain't like she died."
I glared at him.
"Wrong choice of words."
"Clearly." I agreed
It was his turn to glare. "Ha-ha."
"Why thank you."
He pulled out his laptop. "These are how she's doing."
I read it over. "So... she's okay?"
"Yep." he said "Don't worry, dad knows what he's dealing with."
I hope, I said mentally. "Thanks."
"No problem. What are friends for?"
I smiled. "I don't know. I don't have any."
Paul elbowed me.
We laughed.
"So... Saul how do you like Whitewater?"
"It's nice." he said "Bunch a cute girls."
"Iiiight!" Paul and I said in union and messed with him a little
"There's this girl named Fern in my building and she kept next to me all day." he said
"Stay away from Freaky Fern." Paul and I both said
"Why?"
"She's just crazy like that. She followed this one guy around to the point that he got a restraining order."
His eyes went wide.
The bell rang.
I went for it.
"Ay, mang." Carl said using a broke down Spanish accent "How's z'it goink."
"Don't use that accent." I said "Come on in."
We went into the family room.
"What's up?"
Paul had Saul in a headlock.
"What are you guys doing?"
"Nothing." Paul said fixing himself
We hung out for a while, waiting on Dustin.
"I brought candy!" he said when he arrived
We practically finished half the bag.
~ Jessie's POV ~
I made Tyler take me to visit Riley.
Even though I forced him to come, he came inside the room and was so considerate that my one and only best friend was in a coma.
He was quiet.
I sat down and took her hand. I tried not to cry. "Ry, it's me Jessie. Tyler's here too. We're worried about you. You need to hurry up and wake up. It's lonely without you. Gram and Seth are always around. I suppose. You'd already knew that."
Tyler put a hand on my shoulder.
"I want you to know that you're always going to be my best friend no matter what the outcome is. I'll always be there for you. Your like my sister. I'd do anything for you. I love you, Riles and happy new year."
