Chapter 24: "Missing!"

As days were passing Oliver and felicity were getting more closer to each other, and the fact he already showing some signs of improvement in his mood.
He did manage to be the Vigilante, whenever his city on his earth needed it and yes, felicity too was now living a dual life of being an IT girl at Catco at daytime and Overwatch in Star city, at night or whenever oliver was in the field.

And as per their for their feelings, they were still stuck between, best friends and being secretly in love. and it honestly looked like someone had to be a Cupid among them, to make them realize.

One fine day...

"Hey, Oliver... I'm heading to Catco, I might be late tonight, as I have a full floor to upgrades systems today, so don't wait for me for dinner!" Felicity added as she walked in the living room, with her bag on her shoulder and coat over her arm
"Alright!" Oliver who was sitting on the couch and doing something on his laptop added, "take care, I'll see you later then!"
"Sure!" Felicity replied with a smile and grabbing the loft keys, she walked out of the loft, heading to the elevator, while oliver looked at her and took a deep breath.

Later that evening...

Felicity came back from work and opening the door, she walked in, only to find the house empty; she turned the lights on and placing the keys on the small table next to the door, walked in and had a glass of water, and taking her phone out from her coat pocket, she dialed call to over and apparently he wasn't reachable; she thought maybe he is gone to Earth 1 for some purpose so she decided not to think much about it, and headed upstairs to have some shower at the hectic day at the Catco, and till then it was almost 8:10 pm, and yet no sign of oliver, so she contacted Kara to see if he and Mon-el are incase gone out together for any purpose.

"Hey Fefe," Kara added answering the call, "what's up?!"
"Umm... kara, is Mon-el at the DEO, with you?" Felicity curiously questioned 
"Yes, we are... were training sought of, before you rang..." kara replied 
"Oh," Felicity added and kara was now understanding something was off, "what is it fefe?! all okay??" kara questioned her through phone
"Umm.. yeah... its just Ollie..." felicity replied 
"just ollie what?" kara questioned being concerned, 
"I came home and he wasn't there, his phone is out of reach and he isn't home still... so I thought he might have gone out with Mon-el" Felicity explained in short 
"Oh relax fefe, he must have gone to earth 1, maybe wanted to spend time at the bunker or be in the field or meet john..." kara replied in a calm voice, "and if you are still concerned, you should contact john and see..." she further added
"Umm... guess you are right, I'll do that now..." felicity replied 
"and please keep me updated, alright?!" Kara added being concerned 
"oh, I will kara, thank you!" felicity replied and cut the call.

Felicity than contacts john through the app that she had designed to contact the multiverse, but john too was not picking up, so she thought to wait for a while, as they must be in the field indeed, chasing someone or beating someone's ass out. so she grabs the leftover pizza of yesterday's and after heating it in the oven, head to the living room and turning on the TV, she begins eating it, but she couldn't concentrate a bit too on eating nor on watching anything on the TV as Oliver's absence was bugging her all way. 

She browsing the TV channels and contacting john, the same results, he didn't pick up; felicity who was on the couch, being tired fell asleep there itself without even realizing it.

The Next morning...

Felicity woke up and realise that she passed out on the couch itself, with the TV, still on and the living room lights too, so she quickly turned them off and checked her phone, John tried to contact her several times; being hyped she decides to contact him back, but looks at the watch and realises its early and he might be sleeping, so she quickly showers and grabbing a cup of coffee, and grabbing the Interdimensional extrapolator, she opens a breach to earth 1 and walks out straight in the bunker, where John was working out a bit.

"John..." Felicity added as she walked in, 
"Hey, Felicity, what's up? all okay? I got your missed alert on my phone... and where is Oliver?!" John replied being curious about what might it be
"What??! Oliver isn't with you?" felicity questioned anxiously 
"Umm... No, in fact, I called him over yesterday, as I needed an extra hand in the field the last night, but he never came..." John explained
"What??! and I was thinking he was with you the whole time," felicity replied
"Wait, if he isn't here and wasn't with you, than....??!" John muttered
"Omg... he is...." Felicity added but was not able to continue the last part
"Missing!" John added firmly, holding hands n his hips and continued, "Don't worry felicity, we'll find him... here or your earth, we gotta check that first" John replied placing hand over felicity's shoulder 
"I really hope john, that he is alright!" Felicity added with tears in eyes, being all scared and worried for her best friend, with whom she was in love... secretly!
