Chapter 20: Time and Space

After informing John, felicity held Oliver's hand and opening a breach into earth-1 they walked into it. 
Walking out of the breach, which had opened outside the loft, Felicity turned back and glanced over Oliver, who was sad and broken.

"hey, its gonna be okay!" she said holding his hand and looking deeply into his eyes, she added further, "I promise!" 
Oliver didn't utter a word and kept looking at felicity, into her eyes. 
His looks made her feel as if he wanted to hug her and cry out, and she wanted it too, for him to cry out his pain and grieve which he held deep inside; but being outside she didn't want anyone to see her with some guy; holding his arm, she added;
"Hey, come on.. let's get in..." 

she unlocked the door, and walking inside it, and placing the keys on the cabinet next to the door, she took off her coat and threw it on one of the chairs next to the dining table, and walking to oliver, and holding his hand, with a soft caress, she said; "hey, you want anything?"
"just want some time alone" he replied swallowing hard as he took his hand off from hers and walking upstairs, with his head down, while felicity looked at him walking away, with her eyes filled with tears. 
She thought of following him, but then felt she should leave him alone for some time.

Later that evening...
Oliver on the other side locked himself up inside the room since he arrived, and didn't even walk down for lunch. Felicity was now getting worried. she was helpless and restless thinking what to do now; so she rang kara, who was at the DEO
"Hey kara.," Felicity said to kara on phone
"Felicity, where are you guys?" Kara questioned 
"We are at the loft.," she replied 
"How did it go there...? in star city??" Kara further questioned 
"It went how it should..." felicity said sobbing, which made kara worried, she questioned 
"Felicity, are--are you okay?? "
Felicity tried hard to hide her feelings but was unsuccessful; "Yeah. No.. Kara! I'm not okay!" she said firmly, as a tear rolled down her cheek, which made kara understand that she was crying
"Rao... felicity.. what happen... why are you crying?? where is oliver...?? You are scaring me now!" kara being worried, questioned felicity
"Oliver is not okay kara... he locked himself inside the room from the time he came, he didn't even walk down for lunch...and it's making me panic what to do... as you know what he did last night!" Felicity explained in a sobby tone
"Don't worry felicity he won't do anything stupid, he made a promise and I at least trust oliver when he makes promises.. he means them!" Kara explained, calming felicity down
"I know kara, I know... but still something is hitting me, something is not right!" felicity replied anxiously 
"Felicity relax, okay, I have some work here at the DEO, I'll finish that and mon-el and I will come over, till then please hold yourself together and stop thinking anything..." Kara further said 
"okay??? felicity... can you do that for me??" 
Felicity nodded in agreement as she spoke on the phone and replied, "Okay! But kara, please try to get here sooner, I don't think I'll able to handle him if anything worst takes place"
"Okay, we will... I promise, kara said before she hung the call 

After hanging the phone, felicity sat on the couch, all lost in deep thoughts. she hoped that Oliver gets back to normal and walk downstairs, joining her for dinner, but he didn't! so she ate a piece or two of the pizza she ordered and stuffed the remaining into the fridge. Having a glass of water, she switched off the kitchen lights and headed to her bedroom. she glanced one more time at Oliver's bedroom, standing there and thinking to knock it until the device that cisco gave her started beeping. she took it out from her pocket and clicked it, and a projection view of John's video appeared in front of him.
"Oh hey! John..." felicity said looking at the device
"Felicity... I need your help!" Diggle replied furiously, and it looked like he was scared and nervous at the same time
"What up john? why are you so restless??" she questioned anxiously
"Felicity, there is a situation in star city... I cant deal with it alone, might need Oliver's help..." he explained
"But john, Oliver is...." Felicity begin but Oliver who was just getting out of the room heard her conversation with John, he walked to her and asked, "Digg, what is it?"

"Oliver... man. I didn't mean to bother you, buddy!" John replied looking at Oliver's face, which looked lifeless
"Its okay Digg, tell me what happened" Oliver replied 
"Oliver man, there is a situation in star city, I can't handle it alone, I need your help man!" Digg replied 

"What's the case?" Oliver curiously questioned
"Remember the man who kidnapped girls and turned them into wax ? Well, we got his location..." John explained and Oliver without thinking about himself anymore, furiously replied,
"I'm coming there..."

"But, Oliver you are not well..." Felicity grabbed his arm and tried stopping him, but he refused, "felicity... I'm fine.. plus my city needs me"
He replied and walked to his room, picking his bag, he grabbed the interdimensional extrapolator and opened the breach to Earth 1, to start city.
He walked into it and the breach closed.

Watching him go away like that, felicity muttered, "oh god!!" And rushed herself to her room and wearing whatever that got to her hands, she grabbed her device and opened a breach to the same location, which Oliver did, as she knew Oliver wasn't in his senses and he might do something worst that he might later regret.

Walking out of the breach, she spotted Oliver and Diggle ready to heat the road, she screamed asking them to stop, "guys, wait for me.."
Turning and looking at her Oliver said, "felicity, what are you doing here?"
"I came to help!" She replied but Oliver have her a unpleasant look of deniel; "please Oliver, i can help you'll... let me help you both!" She said walking to him with her tab in her hand
"Okay... But you will stay in the vehicle.." Oliver said agreeing to her as he knew she was smart and of great help but same time he couldn't afford to loose such an precious friend like her.

"Good that you came!" John whispered to felicity, to which she nodded as they all walked to the parking and soon drove out of it, hitting the road.
