Chapter 9: Terrifying Night - II

Earlier that evening at National City

Unlike all the other days of National City, it was a dark and Stormy day. despite heavy showers and thunders that followed the whole day, the evening was no different, but they were getting worse. 

Felicity was at the Catco, doing some work when kara walked inside the cabin half soaked, water dripping from all over her hairs

"What the hell happened to you??" Felicity said looking at Kara's condition
"I was at the City Hall, attending the Aliens affairs conference and this weather is just... getting worse," Kara said taking off her coat and putting it behind the chair
"Oh yes, I think I should better get going, the roads must be jammed with traffic.," Felicity said glazing outside the window and checking the watch she continued,
"If I don't leave now, I won't even make it home by today midnight I guess" 
"Oh yes," Kara said who was wiping her face with the hand towel
"Plus, I need to collect some groceries on the way," Felicity said gathering her things
"Hey, if you are going now, can you please give me a drop at the DEO??" Kara pleaded felicity, and Felicity looked at her in puzzled look, before she realized that it was raining, "Oh yes, the weather, you can't fly in this condition..."
which made Kara nod in a sigh
"Sure, let me tell Ms. Grant and then we can leave," Felicity said grabbing the file from the desk she added further" and I should also give this to Cat before she questions me"
"Yeah, So, I'll wait for you at the elevator," Kara said grabbing her coat and her bag
"Sure... I'll be there in a min" Felicity said grabbing her bag and coat in the other hand and the following kara out of the cabin, and then walking to Cat's cabin.

It was 5:00 pm when Kara and felicity left Catco. Felicity Dropped kara at the DEO, and after dealing with a traumatic traffic situation, she reached home after collecting groceries on the way. Parking the car in the garage, and Grabbing the groceries, she opened up the umbrella and walked quickly to the entrance, watching her steps, trying to walk carefully in the water, and reaching the entrance, she pulled her head up and caught the view of Oliver who was sitting on the stairs at the entrance, in the heavy rain, all soaked up in the water.

"Oliver... what are you doing here?" Felicity said in shock looking down at oliver 
"Sorry. I didn't know where else to go" Oliver said in soft tone looking up at Felicity, with red teary eyes
"Oh my God, what happened??" Felicity questioned in worry, but Oliver didn't answer and kept looking at felicity with tears in his eyes. Felicity understood that he must be into something really bad, and without questioning him anything else, she grabbed his hand but spotted blood on it
"Oliver..."
"Oh God, You are bleeding..." Felicity exclaimed, by keeping the groceries down, she added,
"Get up... Oliver..." Felicity said making Oliver stand and then someone managing to open the door with one hand, and holding Oliver, she walked him along with her to the elevators, and after trying to open the door by hitting the button, and not opening; she said "Oh shhhhitt!! power cut"
"we gotta climb the stairs" And they both climbed the stairs to her loft.

Opening the door, she turned on the touch on from her cell phone, and grabbing the emergency battery lamp from the cabinet, she walked oliver inside the loft, 
and then quickly Keeping the groceries on the dining table, she pulled a chair out and grabbed Oliver's arm and making him sit on it, she added,
"Oliver, come here, Sit here okay... I'm gonna get some towels" and oliver didn't say a word, and simply nodded.  

Keeping Oliver alone there, She quickly ran upstairs and after changing into something dry, she came running downstairs as quickly as she can, with some towels in her hand and found oliver sitting there with his head down, all shivering. 

"Oliver... take this..." Felicity said handing over a towel to him, 
keeping the towel on the table, she added, "Wait, let me help you in taking these off first"
and reaching oliver, she pulled off the wet t-shirt he was wearing, and offering the towel again, she said further;
"Take this, wipe yourself." and Oliver accepted the towel and started wiping his face, he noticed Oliver's body shaking, 
"Oliver... you are shivering" felicity furiously said and pulling another towel and wrapping it over Oliver, she said, "I gotta get some dry clothes for you to wear"
biting her lower lip and thinking hard, Felicity muttered "Where am I supposed to find... " and started thinking again;
"Oh yes, Mon-el..." Felicity muttered again
"Let me call Mon-el" and started dialing Mon-el by taking out her phone 
"Damn it! Not reachable" She exclaimed as she phased in the room
"Let me call kara, she is at the DEO, and Mon-el must be there too," said dialing the number to kara. Luckily kara picked the call, "Hey Felicity, what's up?"
"Kara is mon-el there??" Felicity said in a furious voice that scared kara
"yeah. Felicity what happened? are you okay??" kara said through the phone 
"Kara, I can't explain everything right now..." felicity begin
"Its Oliver.. and-and..he..he is here, pretty much in bad condition... I need you to ask Mon-el if I can borrow some clothes from him... Please Kara" Felicity furiously said, and her voice explained that she was scared 
"Yeah, sure.. you have the key to my loft, you can grab whatever you want, I'll tell mon-el later," Kara said furiously 
"Thanks, kara" Felicity quickly replied
"Hey, Felicity... I wished we could get there but this weather...." Kara said furiously
"It's okay, Kara. I can handle it!" Felicity said before she cut the call
"Oliver, stay here, I'm gonna get you some clothes, okay," Felicity said running to oliver and placing her hand on him,
"Felicity... it's..it's okay..." Oliver softly said, looking at Felicity
"No, Oliver, Look at yourself...you are soaked wet, Shivering... and you are gonna freeze to death in this weather especially" Felicity replied, kneeling next to him
"It doesn't matter now..if--if I live or die" oliver replied as tears rolled down from his cheeks, and looking away he added, "just leave me on my condition"
"Oliver let's talk about it later, okay... and stop talking like that! I'll be back soon okay.. stay here.." Felicity said looking up at oliver, and standing up she added, "meanwhile, take off all your wet clothes off and wrap the towel around yourself" before she grabbed the keys to kara's loft and grabbing some of mon-el's clothes, she quickly came back.

"Take these, wear them.." Felicity said Offering oliver some of the mon-el's clothes. Oliver accepted them and pulled them over himself, with Felicity's assistance.
and then she quickly got the first aid box to fix Oliver's wound. 
Grabbing Oliver's hand, and giving him first-aid, she noticed that Oliver's hands were cold as ice, "Oliver, You are so cold.. and the heaters won't work. I gotta help you to keep yourself warm.."
and saying that she quickly ran to the fireplace and turning on the fire, she ran back to Oliver and holding his arm, she made him sit in front of the fireplace. but seeing him still the same, as the heat wasn't enough, she said turning  to oliver,
"Sit here okay, I'll get you a blanket" saying this felicity ran upstairs and got a blanket along with her self and wrapped it around oliver. 

"feli..ci..t..ty..." Oliver said holding his hands, as his teeth in her mouth chattered together relentlessly as he couldn't stop herself from shaking due to cold
"Oliver.. are you okay??" Felicity said looking at him before he touched his forehead and then under his neck, but he was still cold
"Oliver, you are still freezing... and this little fire won't help you..." Felicity said turning towards oliver and holding Oliver's face in one hand
"I--m..f--fin..ee" Oliver replied looking down, trying to keep himself steady, before he closed his eyes
"oh no no...Oliver..." Felicity said turning towards oliver, with teary eyes, cupping Oliver's face in her hand palms, as he looked like he is above to pass out
"Oliver...?? can you hear me?" Felicity added further, shaking oliver a little, whose eyes were closed and that scared her. 
"I don't believe I'm gonna do this..." Felicity said as she lay oliver gently on the floor before she took her t-shirt off and then reaching to oliver, she pulled off his t-shirt quickly; to the fact she knew that two bare bodies held closer can produce more heat.
Felicity after taking off her t-shirt just in her bra, wrapped herself around him, and then wrapping the blanket around themselves, making him feel warmer 
"I got you, Oliver..." Felicity said, wrapping her arms tightly around him, as a tear rolled out from her eyes; "stay with me, please..."
"I'm here... You are gonna be fine.."
