NEXT DAY,

(Earlier that evening at the STAR CITY)

Oliver got ready for the dinner night with his Wife Laurel, before ordering Diggle to look over that night, and left the bunker on his way to one of the fancy restaurants he booked that night.
He entered into the restaurant and after inquiring about the reservations, the manager directed him towards the table at the corner, facing the window.
He glared at the watch on his hand that was showing 7:00 pm sharp. he said to himself "Ahh.. finally right on time" as laurel hated the fact that he is always late for dates and dinners.
Since Laurel was not there yet, being excited and Happy, he spent that whole time thinking about what he is gonna say to laurel as they are gonna do a new start to their married life.
He was so busy thinking, that he didn't realize what time it was, until a waiter approached him,
"Sir, your order please??"
After the second time asking the same, Oliver turned towards the waiter with a reply, "Oh, I am waiting for someone..."
"Sure sir" the waiter replied before attending the next table

Oliver glared at his watch again and it was showing 7:35 pm. He was now getting started to worry as Laurel was never late earlier. As he waited, He was surrounded by random thoughts; that made him anxious 'What if she is some trouble, I should better check on her, and he gave a call to her but she didn't pick'. Or 'maybe she is on her way here, stuck in traffic or something',  or 'what if she didn't want to come, what if she doesn't want to be with me' being fighting with all these fears, he rubbed his face and glared at the watch once again and it showed the time 7:45 pm exact. he grabbed his jacket and checked out of the restaurant straight home. On his way home he tried calling Laurel several times but she didn't pick.

As he reached home, he ran to the door, and just before he was above to ring the bell, he noticed that the door is already unlocked, carefully he entered the house and after hearing some sound coming from upstairs, he grabbed the Gun from the safe in the study, and walked to his bedroom, and to his extreme surprise, Laurel was with Tommy on the bed.

"Laurel, What the hell??" Oliver screamed with tears flooded in his eyes
"Oh my God, Oliver..!!" Laurel said in surprise covering her body in the sheets
"Oliver buddy.. its not.." Tommy begin explaining but Oliver stopped him
"Shut up, Tommy! just Shut up" Oliver exclaimed by looking at Tommy and then to Laurel, "you should have at least told me"
"Ollie, I wanted to tell you.." Laurel tried explaining, but Oliver cut her out, "when??"
"Laurel, I waited for you for almost an hour at the restaurant. you should have... should have... said no when I asked you for dinner a few days before"
"Ollie... I'm so sorry"
"I wasn't sure how to tell you..." Laurel said wearing her dress and walking to oliver
"Laurel, I loved you so much and we were married.. what just..." Oliver said wiping his face with his hand palms
"Married?? Tell me the nights you spent with me on the bed being married. Our honeymoon...? the nights you just walked out of the bed without any explanation."  Laurel said furiously, as tears begin to form in her eyes too
"Laurel, I told you I'm busy with some important work and we will go on our honeymoon sooner.," Oliver explained, and grabbing Oliver's arm, Laurel exclaimed,
"Sooner? when ollie?? it has been a year since we are married.."
"I thought marriage will fix the wrongs I did, but this is..." Oliver said as tears rolled out from his eyes
"Oh I thought the same Ollie.. but now its too late to fix things... and I am glad that you saw us together.. at least it made me easier to explain things," Laurel said looking away, and those words stabbed into Oliver's heart, and the pain he felt was more than he could imagine.
"Okay. Since you already made up your... I'm gonna wish you both good luck." Oliver said, and wiping his eyes, and sniffing, he said further "and don't worry about divorce papers, you will have them by tomorrow." He said before turning away, but Laurel stopped him
"Oh not to worry about them, I have already got them made.." Laurel said by opening the drawer and pulling out the envelope, which looked like legal, and handing over to oliver she said, "Here, read them.. if you want, and sign them for me... I have already signed"

Oliver was now broken more than before; his eyes were filled with tears, and was literally out of words, as to how he felt that moment. he didn't say a word and walked downstairs.

With his eyes swollen red as he cried, he threw the papers on the glass table; he sat on the couch next to the table, with his head down, thinking about what to do; he cried for a while, and after finally realizing that ending this relation is more appropriate than keeping it, so he went through the papers and signed them and left them on the drawers, under the vase, where his sight caught his  marriage picture with Laurel; after being haunted by those happy moments, his eyes finally poured out, and grabbing the picture and threw it down, breaking it in many pieces; followed with the other pictures which were hanging on the wall, he threw them one by one.

he then took the coat stand, which was at the corner and banged it on the glass table next to the couch, which hurt him too. which made a loud sound, that brought laurel and Tommy downstairs.

"Ollie.." Laurel said standing on the stairs next to Tommy, "you are bleeding"
"Stop," Oliver exclaimed
"Just stop showing that you actually care now.." he said as he turned to open the door
"And I signed the papers for you. Good-bye Laurel" Oliver said with a smile, as tears continued rolling down, turning back to Laurel and then back towards the door, and walked out, opening the door.
