The next morning, I went to Emma's room to ask her about something. "Emma, can we talk about something?" I asked. "Sure EU" Emma said.
I sat on Emma's bed and I took a deep breath.
"Look Emma, I love your mother and I want to be with her forever. So I would like to ask u if I can marry your mother".
Emma gave me a smile and said "You don't have to ask me EU. Of course you can marry my mom".
I smiled and reached out my arms and hug Emma. "Welcome to the family, Dad" Emma whispered in my ear.
I hugged Emma more tightly and tears came to my eyes. After 10 minutes of hugging Emma, I pulled away and stood up. "I love you" Emma said. I smiled and said "Love you too".
I walked out of Emma's room and walked back to my shared bedroom where Lisa is curled up in the covers with her eyes closed.
I smiled as I walked to bed and climbed on the bed and wrapped my arms around Lisa. Lisa snuggles into my chest as I stared at her beautiful face.
I kiss Lisa's hair and she smiles while half a sleep and snuggles closer to my chest.
