ch. 06| dark eyes.

R o s i e blinked twice as Chanyeol dragged his cigarrette and rested his forearms on his knees, looking up to her from his seat. Chanyeol looked at the necklace on her chest, down to her short short and back up to her angelic face.

" So," he took a inhale of nicotine before blowing the smoke out, "Liking it so far?"

Rosie rose her eyebrow and leaned on the other side of her window, "Like what?"

"Sloane? I heard you're from the city, kind of a down grade don't cha think?" Chanyeol took one last drag before throwing the bud away.

"I feel at home actually. You go to St. Judes right?" Rosie asked. Not that she has to, she just didn't want to seem like she knows. Chanyeol rubbed his hands on his thighs and nodded.

"What cha got there?" Chanyeol motioned her necklace, it didn't go unoticed that he didnt wan to talk about school and she didn't want to push it since this was their first time talking. She peered down her neck and held her necklace a bit higher.

"Um, I guess an early birthday gift from my grandma"

"Cool" Chanyeol then jumped back into his room, Rosie almost stopped him but she just stood and watched.

"Night, Neighbor." and with that he closed his window and shut his lights.

Rosie was a bit weirded out but shook it off as she copied his actions and shut her curtains and got ready for bed. As Rosie drifted off to her sweet sleep and serene dreams, Jisoo, Jennie, Baekhyun, Sehun and Suho was on the way home from a party down the South Beach and was being chased by local officers for ditching the town curfew.

"Step on it!" Sehun laughed as he looked back at the police car behind them from the passenger seat.

"Chill" Baekhyun said as he swerved into the forest, knowing theres a shortcut back to the main road from there.

The police car was trailing behind them and was warning them to stop the car from the megaphone attached to the car. Suho looked worriedly at Jisoo, Jisoo sighed and tapped the back of Baekhyun's seat.

"We gotta pull over," she said.

Jennie snickered and shook her head. Baekhyun looked at her from the rear view and said "You sure? That'll empress Harvard"

"What the hell," Suho gave in, "drive across Marble Head, might as well have some fun while we're at it"

Jisoo sent him a warning look and he replied with a shrug. Baekhyun turned to his left and entered a fork road, the police car entered the other road beside it. Baekhyun sped up, as the police car tried to cut him off; once they reached the end Baekhyun ended up taking the lead as the police car once again was blocked by theirs. Baekhyun knew Marble Head was headed towards the end of a mountain cliff, and so did everyone in the car.

He sped up and said, "Ayt guys, you ready?"

Sehun did a check on everyone and saw Jisoo's wary face, "C'mon Soo, it's gonna take all of us"

Jisoo took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Baekhyun, Jennie, Sehun and Suho's pupils then turned darker than the night sky. The police car started honking behind them, warning them about the edge but it only made Baekhyun speed up.Jisoo then opened her eyes holding the same darkly stare, everyone in the vehicle then felt their bond and had a sudden wave of euphoria.

"HARRY POTTER CAN KISS MY ASS" Baekhyun screamed as the car went off the cliff.

The police car then halted a few meters away. The police who was accompanying the night shift patrol went down from the passenger seat with a flashlight, "Holy shit, Jason alert the main office"

Officer Jason went down and went close to the edge and saw the beach waves at the bottom, he flashed his light on the other side of the cliff but no remains of the BMW or even people were seen. Both officers looked at eachother and ahead before being startled by the BMW suddenly appearing behind their car, as if it fell from the sky; they heard the laughter from the inside before the car drove off.

"What the actual fuck"

A week in and Rosie had all her classes dialed down, she had been sitting with Jisoo and the others everyday at lunch too. Everyone was getting ready for game season. It was a big deal in Sloane, especially when it comes to the St. Judes vs Easton game. It was a rivalry game and by the looks of it, St. Judes is winning the intimidation game.

Rosie smiled as she walked by the cheerleaders getting ready with the pep rally happening tomorrow. She went to her locker and was startled to see Sehun beside it after she closed it.

"Oh my god!" Rosie shrieked. Sehun laughed, earning a slap on Sehun's arm "Stop doing that!"

"Jen said that I need to take you to the diner so..." He wiggled his keys, "Ready?"

"You owe me cheese fries" Rosie warned.

"You can buy your own cheese fries woman," Sehun poke his tongue out before pushing Rosie out to the parking area.

When they reached the diner, it was almost full by students from St. Judes, some from Spacer. Rosie took her school blazer off and left her bag inside Sehun's car; only taking her phone and wallet with her. Jisoo when they entered, Rosie noticed that Kyungsoo and Kai were also in one of the booths but Chanyeol was nowhere to be seen.

"Hey," Rosie said as she sat down, and was greeted with a chorus of hums and almost silent heys "well, aren't you guys tired" she laughed.

Baekhyun rested his head on her shoulders, and smelled the ends of her hair. Jennie pointed at him "It's his fault"

"I'll order, what do you guys want?" Sehun leaned on his palms, looking at everyone at the table while they replied in chorus "Burgers".

"and Milkshakes, got it" Sehun said and strutted off to the diner bar, spotting a specific red haired vixen he had been eyeing for the past year.

"And what can I get you-" Lisa stopped mid sentence as Sehun sat on the stool, "Oh you gotta be kidding"

" 5 regular burgers, 1 Garden Burger. 6 chocolate milkshakes" Sehun leaned on his forarms, and looked up the menus as he thought of whatelse to order.

Lisa sighed in annoyance, and tapped on her list as she waited for Sehun, only to find him tapping his cheek "And maybe a kiss here"

"Kiss my ass," Lisa said and disappered at the back to tell the cook the order.

"Trying to babe!" Sehun called after, he went back to the booth chuckling.
