S u h o had just come home from the Academy when he saw his mother downing another glass of whiskey, as she called to welcome him home from the receiving area of their home. He sighed and leaned on the door frame as he looked at her in pity.
"Mom," he said, it was supposed to be a greeting but what came out was a sound of warning.
His mother smiled, followed by a look of sadness covering her face, "Darling... You look just like him, so young, so handsome."
Suho came to her side and took the glass from her grasp. "You clearly had enough,"
His mother giggled in reply as Suho tossed the remaining whiskey onto the fireplace. She ran her fingers through her hair as frustration creeps in.
"Do you think I enjoyed watching your father ruin himself?"
"Mom," he warned.
"It almost killed me, and it is still killing me now" She leaned back and looked at him straight in the eye, "You have no idea what these powers can do to you, my love. These little tricks you and your friends have been pulling off? Are nothing!"
Suho diverted his eyes on the floor as his fists turn into a ball to prevent himself from bursting.
"You think you can have the world one day and the next you'll vanish into thin air, just like your father" she cried.
"I am not him mom, I've ascended. I had control over my powers!" Suho yelled, "He made his choice, it wasn't like it just happened because he was an angel."
He then took the whole bottle of Scotch and poured it over the huge fireplace in front of them, along with the baccarat crystal bottle.
He gave his mother one last look, a warning, "Get it together, mother. I'm begging you." he spat before going up to his bedroom.
He slammed the door on his way and plopped on his bed, he reached for the phone in his pocket to dial Jisoo but was led to voice mail. Suho shuts his eyes and sighed heavily.
He went on to finish the workload he had left for school later that night and snuck in a late-night work out that made his tired as usual. Known for being a light sleeper, Suho was woken up when he felt something- more like someone was shuffling in his room. He lazily rubbed his eyes and turned his lampshade on to see his bedroom empty.
Suddenly a cold breeze flew by his windows, and when he looked to his left he saw a shadow by his balcony entrance, "Farewell," he heard a woman's voice whisper.
And just like that, he was alone again. He went to his bathroom to wash his face to take a breather after he was done he got a good look at himself in the mirror. He blinked but the person in front of him didn't, instead, it smiled. Tight-lipped and staring back at him, he was terrified. He felt his limbs being controlled as if he was glued onto the tiled floor. A cold breeze flew by hid windows as he shuts his eyes, pronouncing a prayer out loud to vanish the evil that was playing him.
"Suho," a hushed voice sang onto his ear, "Suho, Suho, Suho," and a giggle.
"Leave me alone!" He pleaded, shutting his eyes harder.
"Dare to make a deal with the devil?"

"Take five!" Jennie said to her squad before turning off the song that was blasting all over the indoor gym of St. Judes. She went on to her gym bag that was on the floor and retrieved her water bottle when she spotted Kai and the rest of the soccer team in the weight room.
She bit her lower lip and strutted to the said room, tightening her high ponytail and pushing her sports bra up to make her look perkier than she ever did. Kai was at the middle line of weights too busy to even notice her walk in the room. But beside him was JB who was the team's midfielder.
"Hey," Jennie said standing by between their weights. JB immediately stopped just at the sight of her legs, almost hitting himself with the barbel and cleared his throat as he sat up.
"H-hey, Jen." JB smiled as he wiped the sweat off his forehead.
Kai peeked and saw her backside faced towards him, he continued pressing benches ad he listened to their conversation with a smirk on his lips.
Jennie was asking if he could take her to the soiree happening at the end of the week and JB was delighted to do so. It was obvious to Kai that Jennie was trying to get his reaction or make him jealous. But he knew better and he didn't want to give her the satisfaction, Jennie always wins; it was a known fact all over school. But she won't if she's playing with him, not yet anyway.
"Hey Kim," Chanyeol's voice echoed through the room as he emerged from the coach's office, "We're busy here? Can't have the team lose over those legs now, can we?" he cocked an eyebrow, as he slid his ID to open the door for her.
"Whatever Park, make sure we have something to shake those pom-poms for. Okie?" Jennie said sweetly before turning to JB and said, "Text me." before leaving the room.
Chanyeol was left with half of his team preoccupied watching her, or her legs, leave. He sighed and rolled his eyes before yelling "Wipe those drools off your fucking faces, and add ten more."
As he dropped to the matted ground to get started on his push-ups, Chanyeol heard voices in his head. He shut his eyes right away but it was no use, it only became louder and more prominent.
Kai went to his side and felt how sweaty he already was. "Yeol?" Kai tapped his arm several times but Chanyeol just groaned, before pushing him away and running off to the shower room. He quickly drenched his face with cold water, as he feverishly catches up with his breath.
"Hey Yeol," Kai knocked several times. His worried thoughts got mixed up with the voices inside Chanyeol's head.
"GET THE FUCK OUT!" Chanyeol yelled as he gripped his hair.
As Kai was deliberately trying to open the door, Sehun and Baek rushed beside him. They were in their separate classes when they both picked up the sense that there was a darkling in close proximity. Sehun tried to fiddle with the knob masking how he was unlocking it with his mind, while Baekhyun tried to talk Kai into hallucination in order to re-edit the events that happened in his mind.
When Sehun finally got in, Chanyeol was curled up against the tiled wall. As he was about to reach over and try to calm him down, Chanyeol grabbed his wrist and stared at him with his eyes dark as the night.
"Yeol!" Baekhyun warned as he tried to get in between them.
"What the fuck is happening to him?"Sehun asked as he tried to slip away from Chanyeol's tight grip.
"His thoughts are clouded right now, someone's casting on him," Baekhyun said as he tried to distract Chanyeol, "It's not working, he's not present"
Sehun saw the trash can near him, he gripped it tight and knock Chanyeol out with it. He sighed in relief when Chanyeol laid down unconscious. Baekhyun gave him a what-the-fuck look and he raised both of his shoulders and said, "It's not like that will kill him,"
Baekhyun crouched down to check Chanyeol's pulse, which was well and fine, "You better pray for your sake that he won't remember that,"
