S u n d a y s was the only time Rosie and her dad could enjoy their past time, which is running. Rosie got up wearing her gear and saw her dad talking to Chanyeol. He was dressed in his dark washed jeans and a black muscle shirt. Rosie blushed, the mere sight of her father getting along with somone she was wildly curious about, made her heart skip a little. She was about to head back but heard her dad call her.

"Honey," her dad smiled when she stood beside him, "Chanyeol here knows how to fix up cars, maybe he can fix the ol' mustang"

"Umm," Rosie scratched the back of her head and looked at her dad then to Chanyeol who was wiping grease off his hands with a old ragged shirt.

"Just a thought, if one day you might wanna use it. At least he's next door" her dad smiled up at Chanyeol, who smiled back.

I'm starting not to like the idea of him next door Rosie thought and kept a closed lipped smile, she tapped her watched and jogged off onto the street ushering her dad. Little did she knew Chanyeol heard what she didn't say out loud.

Chanyeol watched her from behind with a smirk on his face, his phone then dinged telling him that he got a text getting him out of his trance with the blonde beauty, and when he found out who it's from he groaned and threw the greasy shirt somewhere in the garage. He went to his room to throw on fresh shirt before heading to Thorn Hills.

He drove through the mansions, hating every single aspect of it; from the exterior down to the people living inside. However, he had spent most of his life with people like them. Attending St. Judes was hard for an outsider like him, but everyone knew who he was. More specifically, which family he came from. The Parks of Sloane was exactly the type of family he hated. They were known to be the richest in town, but all Chanyeol saw was style and no substance. He was glad that he was out, but there will always be something that pulls him back in. Just like the weekend meetings they just HAD to have and it annoyed him.

He stopped in front a house along the gated shores of Westbrook beach, he took off his sunglasses and threw it on the dashboard. He looked out of the window and saw Suho leaning back the front door waiting for the rest of them to arrive or him since he's always late.

"8 am? Really?" Chanyeol said as he walked up to the abandoned estate.

Suho shrugged and patted Chanyeol on the ahoulder before walking in the estate. Baekhyun and Jennie were surprised to see Chanyeol, knowing the location was not exactly his favorite. Sehun gave him a curt nod while Jisoo greeted him with a hello.

"One question," Chanyeol said as he took his flannel off and plopped down on the sofa, "Why this house?"

"Don't you mean your house?" Jennie said as she examined her newly manicured nails.

"Yeah, this place wouldn't be that shabby if you fixed this up Yeol" Jisoo said as she tore off the cloth covering the other sofa opposite Chanyeol's.

"What are we here for?" Chanyeol breathed out, and placed his left ankle on his right knee.

"I got sent a darkling last night" Sehun confessed.

Everyone in the room suddenly got tensed, Jennie rested her hand on Sehun's shoulder. Jisoo and Suho exchanged glances, Baekhyun's nosetrils flared with anger and so did Chanyeol's

"Who would send a f*cking darkling? We're the only ones here in Sloane" Baekhyun said, referring to the magnitude of their kind in the region.

"I don't know, but the energy was close" Sehun rubbed his temples, "It took the form of Samantha" and worriedly looked at Chanyeol.

"No," Chanyeol scoffed, "How can a darkling take form of someone who isn't dead"

"Dark Magic?" Jisoo said, everyone turned to her as she scanned through the pages of the Paegan. The book of Angels.

"An Angel who holds a moon stone can perform a union of a host's body and a lightling, forming a sacred rhythm of healing and guidance. An enchantment of purpose must be performed before lighting up an Ignus candle to offer to the heavens" Jisoo read carfully, she looked at Sehun worriedly and asked "The darkling... Was it telling you something? or did it try to do something?"

"I wasn't sure, all I knew was it looked like Samantha. and then it disappeared into thin air" Sehun answered truthfully.

"There must be some type of intention, was it really a darkling?" Suho said.

"The question is who..." Jennie ran her fingers through her hair, "If that person is indeed using dark magic, it would be someone who follows Lucius. and he or she, holds a moon stone"

"Moon Stones are used to accelerate one's power" Baekhyun analyzed, "Just keep an eye on your surroundings, each and everyone of us" he warned.

"Aye- eye" Sehun said and everyone chorused in agreement.

Chanyeol thought very deeply as he noticed the necklace Jisoo and Jennie were wearing. It looked identical to what Rosie was admiring back in her room a few nights ago, only the stones were different from eachother. He had an inkling but didn't share anything with the group unless he was sure of it himself. The meeting went on, it was mostly Jisoo scolding Sehun and Baekhyun for using their powers for their advances like opening a door, lifting up a book or two.

When it was time to go home Jennie was about to approach Jisoo but she was too busy on her phone. Jennie being mischievous took Jisoo's phone off her hands

"What cha got there?!" Jennie giggled. Jisoo immediately pleaded her to give the phone back, Jennie read the name and it said M.

"Who the heck is M?" Jennie then turned to a very fuming Jisoo.

"None of your business," Jisoo snatched her pone back and walked to Suho's car.

"Ok biatch" Jennie said lightly with a grin.
