ch. 09 | attraction.

C h a n y e o l didn't particularly liked the idea of dancing, but she was and it inticed him to do the same. However, they weren't dancing with each other. Rosie had her attention all up with his rival in soccer from Spacer. Jung Jaehyun. He was charming, an all around good guy. He was surprised to see Rosie let lose, particularly how she swayed her hips to the rhythm and the way her delicate hands gripped Jaehyun's shoulder as they laughed and enjoyed the music.

"Channie," Joy purred as she tried to get his attention back to her.

Chanyeol smiled and fixed her wild hair away from her face, "Should we go somewhere a little bit more private?" he whispered, peering at Rosie who was looking at him.

What the hell. That was what he heard, making him bite onto his tongue as he tried to stop himself from smirking. It was so natural for her to react when he's around, every emotion she feels whenever he's around, every energy and thought he feels too. He liked it, and he wanted to see if he could get more. He then took Joy's hand and led her into the dinning room he knew Jennie and her family doesn't use. Before they could even enter he heard the door being locked, he turned and saw Baekhyun who was snickering.

Chanyeol rolled his eyes and mouthed "Cockblock".

"You're welcome" Baekhyun mouthed back. He waited for Chanyeol and Joy to get back into the party and searched for Rosie in the crowd, when he did he was surprised. Jaehyun was in the middle of leaning in to give her a kiss but then got inturrupted when Chanyeol screamed "BAEKHYUN CHUG!", gathering everyone's attention.

As Baekhyun was getting hollered to do Chanyeol's challenge, Jiso and Suho were just watching from the side both holding champange glasses. Suho studied Jisoo as she laughed along and even hollering for Baekhyun too, he twice about what he was going to say when he got interrupted by Kyungsoo.

"Hey Jisoo, I know it's bad timing but it's about the parade tomorrow" Kyungsoo said.

Jisoo looked at Suho in an apologetic manner before going with Kyungsoo. As she was getting further away from their space, Suho noticed that Jisoo left her phone on the table. A caller under the name M was calling and he knew exactly who it was, Suho then turned her phone off and shoved it in his pocket before going to where Sehun was.

"Don't tell me you don't have game tonight" Suho laughed as he sat by Sehun at the bar.

"Not exactly," Sehun said as he toyed with his scotch, before looking at a certain Auburn haired girl dancing with Jennie and Rosie on the dancefloor.

"I thought you don't date girls from Spacer?" Suho said spotting Lisa.

"I don't date period. I, however, fuck. And that girl from Spacer is sure as hell inviting" Sehun said and clung his glass with Suho before downing his drink.

"You're a walking death hazard," Suho rubbed his temples, "Be careful, dick might fall out".

"You mock now, at least I'm not chasing someone for eight years now" Sehun winked.

"That's different," Suho said and looked down on his shoes.

The party fell deeper into the night and half of the people were either drunk, horny or passed out. Jennie had managed to get them out of her mansion, some stayed for more night swimming; not intoxicated of course. Jennie was taking another bottle of tchampange from the personal bar when Kai entered the kitchen.

"Oh," Kai scratched the back of his head, "Sorry I uhh..."

Jennie bit her lip as she stared at him, he had a towel around his neck and was shirtless. His hair was still wet implying that he just got out of the pool.

"Help yourself," Jennie said, propping up on the kitchen island as she popped the champange open and took a swig.

Kai grinned at her as he opened a can of beer, and leaned on the island opposite to where she was sitting, his abs in full show "Nice party," he complemented.

"Thanks," Jennie settled down the bottle of champange, "What's your favorite part?"

"Other than the free flow of booze? There's this girl I'd like to rip out of a white bikin as of the moment" Kai said nonchalantly, Jennie almost shivered in excitement.

"What I meant was the venue," Jennie smirked and jumped off the island, "but thank you for sharing" she took her robe off and got the champange off the table before walking out.

Jisoo and Rosie ushered her to a game of spin the bottle once she got to the living room. Suho, Sehun, Chanyeol, Lisa, Mark, Jaehyun and some guy named Taeyong were also joining the game.  Rosie handed her the bottle to take the first spin and it landed on Lisa.

Jennie and Lisa we're childbood friends, but when Jennie got a hold of her power it became hard to maintain their closeness. Also the fact that Lisa moved to Spacer when her father died didn't help the situation, but regardless they still remained friends. Lisa did a double take to reasure her before leaning over the table.

It was only a peck, but Lisa didn't expect Jennie to deepen the kiss. Lisa bit her tongue to stop her and cried out a "What the hell Jen?", before laughing out loud.

"What? They said to kiss," Jennie shrugged, "that's how I do it"

"Sign me up then," Kai chirped and sat beside Chanyeol.

"Spin it bitch," Jennie told Lisa who was all flustered. The bottle then landed on Mark, a member of the Spacer Basketball varsity team. She had been eyeing him all night, and for the past year which explains the sudden rush all over her body.

When Mark was about to kiss her, the bottle of champange got knocked over and poured all over his pants. Sehun snickered, noticing how he looked like he peed his pants in excitement. Mark excused himself and Lisa shot Sehun a death glare.

Jisoo then placed a hand on Sehun's shoulder, "Saw that"

"It was the flick of the wrist I swear," Sehun said innocently, then grinned in triumph as Jisoo rolled her eyes.

I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE HELLA CONFUSED AS TO HOW THEIR POWERS WORK BUT IT WILL BE EXPLAINED I PROMISE. so this is more of a "screen time" filler type of chapter???
