Harmony's P.O.V
"Uhuh. Really? Are we talking about the same person here? It can't be! Oh really? Yes I understand completely. Yes I've got it all under control. No , thank you." Click.
I've been eavesdropping on my mothers conversation for about half an hour now. And I've had the same expression on my face the whole time. A smirk. Sweet revenge.
"HARMONY AMY ADAMS GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" I heard my mom shout. That surprised me, why was she yelling at me? I didn't understand. So just to be safe I held the icepack to my face, and put a sulking expression on my face. I needed to look innocent, if anything. I slowly walked down the stairway, fliching every second or too for dramatic effect.
"Y-Yes mother?" I asked softly when I reached her.
"Oh don't yes mother me. You're not all innocent either. And it's your face that is hurt, not your tongue. So drop the act." She said. Dammit! She knew me way too much.
"Now, I want to know EXACTLY what happened. Starting from the beginning." She demanded. "Now I take that this is going to take a while for you to fish out the truth. So for your own health of me walking over there to add to your condition I'm going to take a seat." My mom said, causing me to flinch. A real one this time, I've never seen her so furious. I watched as she sighed and took a seat. Trying despertely to calm down.
I decided, I'd tell her the truth. Well my truth. "Okay Mom." I nodded throwing the icepack on the table and taking a seat across from her.
"This is what happened. Well I really don't know what happened, see I was just-" I began before she interrupted me.
"I specifically remember telling you not to like to me, young lady. Now start over again. And we're going to continue starting over until you finally decide to tell me the truth." She said.

Ten tries later and she still wouldn't budge. "OKAY! I might of told a little tiny fib." I confessed. She nodded. "Took you long enough. Okay, now we're getting somewhere. Keep on going..."
"Well it wasn't my fault. She purposely hit me with the volleyball in the scrimage. So I had to get her back, some how." I continued, my head down.
"..... Harmony now what exactly did you tell Coach Carson, about your sister?" She asked calmly, causing me to look up to see if I was hearing correctly. She nodded as if gesturing me to continue.
I sighed and took a deep breath. I-I. Uhm. I toldherthatmelodywastakingunprescribedpills." I answered in a rush, feeling a big weight lifted right off of my shoulders.
My mother sat there, nodding and contempelating what she thought I had said. Then her eyes went wide. "YOU DID WHAT?"
So much for being calm, I thought as I bowed my head once again.

Melody's P.O.V
I was laying on my back on top of Lea's bed, staring at the blank plain white ceiling, thinking about what could be going on at my house right now. The school must've called hours ago.
"Stop thinking about it." Lea said, breaking my thoughts.
I turned to her. "How could I NOT think about it. Think about it Lea, I punched my sister in the face!" I roared, slapping myself on the forehead. "I can't believe I did that. I mean I was just so mad, and she was just such a bitch. I overreacted I guess." I thought aloud.
Lea walked over to me, and sat at the edge of the bed. "No you didn't overreact. Stop blaming yourself for everything that your sister caused. You didn't overreact. You cracked." Lea told me.
"I-I cracked? What is that supposed to mean?" I asked her turning on my side to face her.
"Yes. You cracked. I can see it. So many years of unsaid words. So many years of hurt, vunerbility, and pain. You blew up, you couldn't take it anymore." She explained.
I thought it over. Maybe she was right. "Why do you think I just suddenly cracked now? And not years before?" I asked her as if she were a therapist rather than my best friend; only friend.
"Well.." She started. "Maybe it was because you've grown to see the light. And maybe because she picked the last straw." She said.
"The last straw." I repeated, as a statement rather than a question.
"Yeah. Volleyball. Volleyball was the last straw. Probably the only thing you had left, till I came in the picture.." She smiled. "You see volleyball is how you express yourself, so once she tried, well almost succeeded in taking that from you, you cracked. Rather than school which no one cares for, volleyball is probably the only thing that your better at then her. No offence." She shrugged.
"None taken.." I said, pondering. She was right.
"Hey Lea, have you ever thought about becoming a therapist? Or a physcastrist? Or majoring in phsycology?"
Authors Note - I'll edit my spelling later.
"Nope." She said quickly. "Well.. now you have!" I yelled shaking her happily. My first real smile in a while.

Harmony's P.O.V
Ten extremely irritating minutes later. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" She shouted for about the hundredth time. I covered my ears, "I DON'T KNOW! I acted on my emotions. That's just how I am, okay?" I sniffed, before realizing I was crying. Ugh, that bitch isn't worth my tears.
"I don't even know what to do with you anymore. Plus, I heard that you told everyone that your sister 'lays on her back' what is up with that? I-I just don't know what to do anymore. I just, I just don't." She mumbled shaking her head furiously.
"ME? Why is it always me? Why don't you go and blame the daughter who, punched me in the face! Hello?!" I replied pointing to my face.
"This would've never happened if you would have just quit teasing your sister. She is-"
"A bright young student. She is perfect. She is this, she is that! Blah. Blah. Blah. I've heard it all before! I'm tired of it. She's not going to get introuble, after she deliberatly hit me!"
"I told yo-"
I wasn't finished. "Yeah. I know it was my fault! Isn't it always. It's always about her, Melody. Melody. Melody. I'm tired of it! When is it ever about me, Mom? Me?"
"Harmony Honey, I-"
"You know what mom? Don't even answer it, because I already know the answer. NEVER!" I shouted tears springing from my eyes, blinding my vision, when the door flung open. I couldn't see the face, but I knew that voice anywhere. "Hello?"
It was in fact, my twin sister Melody Jane Adams. She had the nerve to come back?
