"I know this is soon but I would really like to take you on a date some time. Would that be okay with you?" Luke asked looking me in the eyes.

"Yeah, I would really like that, but I don't know anyone around here and I don't want to leave my kids with a stranger."

"I understand, why don't you use my baby sitter and I will have her watch all four of the kids?" Luke suggested

"That should be fine." I tell him

"You won't regret this." Luke said standing up.

"I better not." I said smirking at him as I stood up beside him.

"Believe me darlin' you will not regret it." Luke said smiling. Luke paid for our meal and walked with me back to work.

"I guess I will see you around?" I asked outside of the front door.

"YEs, you will see me later." Luke said opening the door for me. I walked over to my desk and sat down. "How are you, Kelsey?" Luke asked my co- worker.

   "I'm good and you?"

"I'm wonderful, I just had lunch with a really pretty girl." Luke said looking at me.

"Well, it's about time that you finally date some one."

"I know, I've got to go but I will see you ladies later." Luke said walking away.

The rest of my day consisted of answering phones and writing down messages. It was almost time to leave when I got a call that was different then the rest.

"Yes, miss Britney. I am going to give you a number and I want you to write it down. While your on the phone with me text the number with your cell phone and texted the words Friday night at seven." The caller said. I bet I had the most confused look on my face. Why would I text someone and say that? I did it any way and put my phone back in my purse.

   "Okay, now what?" I asked

"Have a good day Britney." He said hanging up. Okay that was just weird.

"Alright, I will see you tomorrow Britney." Kelsey said as we both got up and left the office.
I checked my phone when I got into the car. I had a text message from the number I texted earlier

~ Hey Britney, I hope I didn't freak you out too much! But what you text me was the day and time of our date! I can't wait till then!
                    Luke~

Awe that was so sweet! I can't believe Luke did that! I texted him back telling him that was sweet. I put my phone in the cup holder and started the car, I miss my babies like crazy. When I pulled up to the daycare, I walked into get my kids. On my way to the room where Sydney was I ran into someone. I really need to start watching where I'm going.

"Britney, we need to stop running into each other like this." Luke said with a laugh.

"I'm sorry Luke." I said looking into his eyes.

"Don't worry about it. Go get your girl and I'll wait here and we can walk out together."

  "Okay, I will hurry."

"No, rush." I walked in to get Sydney and signed her out. We walked back out into the hall, where Luke and his boys were waiting for us.

"Mommy! That my friend!" Sydney yelled as we walked up to them.

"Really? Are you and Bo friends?" I asked her.

"Daddy! That Syd!" Bo said just as excited.

"Well, it looks like our kids are friends." I said smiling.

"Would you and the kids like to go to the park with us?" Luke asked

"What do you say, Sydney?" I asked my little girl.

  "Yes!"

"It looks like we are going with you." I told Luke as we walked out of the buildings.

"Follow me, I know a really private park that is gated." Luke said

"Alright." I said getting into my car. I followed Luke's truck and pulled into a very familiar parking lot. I pulled in the parking space next to him and got out. "Do you live here?" I asked him.

"Yeah, why?" Luke asked with a confused look on his face.

  "We live here too."

"Really? What a small world it is." Luke said smiling. We got the kids out and walked to the play ground area.

"I didn't know this was here." I told him.

"Really? I moved here because of it. I love the idea of the kids being safe and that no one is allowed in here that doesn't live here." I love how Luke is a wonderful father, always thinking about his family and their family. Anyone would be so lucky to have Luke in their life's.

"What?" Luke asked breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Nothing." I said putting Hunter down so he could run.

"You were staring at me." Luke said sitting down on the bench.

"I was just thinking." I told him, embarrassed that he caught me staring at him.

"You can tell me what your thinking." He said looking into my eyes.

"I was just thinking how you are a wonderful father for thinking of his kids' safety first." I told him blushing.

"Thank you and I bet your the worlds best mom." Luke said taking my hand under the picnic table. I couldn't help the blush on my cheeks for the millionth time today.

"I try to be." I smiled.

"I really can't wait for Friday." Luke said

"I was thinking since our kids are friends why don't we just have a date where we stay in and watch movies while the kids play. Is that crazy?" I asked him

"No, it's not crazy. I see where you are coming from. I think it's a perfect idea." He said squeezing my hand. We spent about two hours at the playground before we called it a day. I had a really good time talking to Luke. I didn't want the day to end, but I'm a mother and I have kids to take care of.
