It's hard to believe  that Luke and I have been together for a year. Mom and Dad are here till Luke's and Sydeney's birthday next month. Mark hasn't tried to even talk to the kids, as far as I'm concerned is that he doesn't exist. My kids and I are way better off without him in our life. All the kids are with both sets of grandparents right now while Luke and I get ready for our one year.

I was in the bedroom putting on my new red dress that went a little above my knee and paired it with my black pumps. I curled my hair and left it down. I put on very little make up and a neckliess that Luke got me on our six months. Luke was in the bathroom down the hall getting ready. I took my time making sure my hair and make up was perfect.

"Are you almost ready?" Luke asked walking into the room.

"Yeah." I said turning around to face him.

   "Wow!"

"What?" I asked looking down at my dress. "Do I look that bad?"

"No, baby. You look beautiful." Luke said taking my hand and giving me a short but sweet kiss on the lips. "Let's go before we are late." Luke said leading me down the stairs and out the door. He opened my car door for me and helped me in. The whole way to the restaurant was quite with music playing quitly in the background. Luke held my hand tight and kissed it. We pulled up to this really big and beautiful manor.

"Where are we eating at?" I asked

"In there. It's called Monell's At The Manor." He replied. Sometimes I forget that Luke is a famous country singer, I'm so use to the loving and caring man that helps me with the kids. He's so down to Earth that I forget sometimes. He went all out on our anniversary when he knows that I would be fine with a small meal at home or us and the kids going to McDonlad's.

~After dinner and on their way home!~

"Thank you for dinner. That place was really beautiful." I told him.

"You're welcome baby. I'm glad you liked it. You will like the second part of our night." Luke said kissing my hand. The whole way home I thought of what the second part of our night would be. The first thought I had was sex but Luke is too much of a gentle man to not do something bigger than a fancy dinner on a day like this.  When we got home Luke took my hand and stopped in front of the door.  "I'm going to cover your eyes as we walk in so you don't peek." He said as he placed his hand over my eyes and opened the door. It was quite and all I could see is darkness from Luke's hand.

"Are you ready?" Luke asked and I shook my head. He removed his hand and I looked around. Our parent's was standing behind the kids who had signs that said 'Will you marry our daddy?' I felt the tears run down my face. I turned to look at Luke and he was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring in his hand.

"I know we have only known each other a year and moved in together after only two months. People probably think we are crazy but I don't care. I'm madly in love with you and my boys love you and I love Sydney and Hunter like they are my own. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and be one big family. Will you Britney Jade Johnson do me the honors of becoming my beautiful wife and the mother of my children?" I had tears running everywhere and shaking. I don't think I could talk even if I tired so I just shook my head yes. Luke got up and placed the ring on my finger and spun me around.

I looked around and both our mothers were full on crying. Luke's dad was smiling and mine had a tear in his eye and a proud look on his face. I'm the most luckiest girl in the world, I have a loving and caring man who would do anything for me. Four wonderful children and my parent's and Luke's who treat me, Luke and the kids good. I couldn't ask for a better life and a better start for this new life of ours.
